Things are taking shape over at Tastywaxrecords.com … thanks to the homie for the mock up of the album cover for Hazzard McCarty’s album “Laugh and play”. Set to debut this fall/early summer… as soon as I finish mixing it really… very proud of the work we’ve been doing. Don’t feel like work one bit… also gonna update the website soon with the stories of our quest for lathes of all shapes and sizes. As well as some exciting stuff coming up in our cutting endeavor. Our friend Pearl (www.pearlsstainedglass.com) blessed our space with a custom stained glass piece for the entry window. Pretty sure curling is the only hope I have left at being a gold medalist… it seems like shuffleboard but colder. Oh well… back to finding the perfect spot for the vibraphone where it’ll be played and not used as a table. In curling there’s a saying “make sure you always leave em chasing their rocks” … I like it and I’m gonna bring it into the day to day sayings rotation… make sure you always leave em chasing their rocks everybody.

Any day now… I thought my friend Jerry Palmer wrote this song after he sang it for me a ca****la many years ago… turns out Burt Bacharach wrote it… also turns out Jerry didn’t even sing the words correctly… but I like his version better even though it doesn’t really make sense… also it makes perfect sense… also I don’t ever know what to do with my hands… or my arms… or any other part of my body… enjoy.
