"Atmospheric & melodic Black Metal from the rugged wilds of Tasmania - as majestic and as expansive as ever, sublimely evolving their signature style of orchestral atmospheric black metal with melodic guitars, dual melodies and at times shredding fury and full blast beats with bass lines to deliver the right punch but also harmony. Vocals rasp with an icy chill as moments of clean singing emerge from the dankness while synths and violins create a luscious respite from the fury - and with acoustic guitars lull the listener to a cascade of melancholy and sublime wonder. New Tyrannic track debuts at NO CLEAN SINGING !

The weird and wild (and desolating) Australian band TYRANNIC are returning on November 22nd with their third album "Tyrannic Desolation" via Iron Bonehead Productions, and today (see the comment link below) we're revealing its disturbing and twisted title track. As our editor writes in his preview:

"Quite evidently, this is neither conventional doom nor conventional black metal, but a mutated cross-breeding of the two that’s perversely fascinating despite (or probably because of) how unsettling and even alarming it is. These effects won’t be completely surprising to people who delved into Tyrannic‘s last album, but even those people may find themselves a bit dumb-struck and jaw-dropped when they hear this."
