It's on September 25th and it is the 25th and Grand FINAL Edition of Gr(Eggs) Benedict. This Saturday morning on 88.6 PVFM. It will be a show totally dedicated to FOOTBALL! Yes it's the GF and there will be interviews, (Collingwood champion, Simon Prestigiacomo), AFL cover bands and clips from history. So unless your name is Keith Dunstan, you'll be suitably entertained. All between 7-9am on 88.6 Plenty Valley FM.

This Saturday marks the 20th Anniversary of the attacks on September 11, 2001. I'll be playing almost exclusively US artists with some live tunes from the benefit concerts. Between 7-9am on Saturday morning. 88.6 Plenty Valley FM.

It is the final episode of GrEggs Benedict during August Aussie Music Month on 88.6 Plenty Valley FM, but I should also acknowledge some of the great tunes written by those on the other side of 'the ditch'. Paul Hewson (Dragon) and Mike Rudd (Spectrum) were New Zealanders that could sure pen great tunes. Tune in between 7-9am this Saturday.

A bit different on GrEggs Benedict this Saturday morning. The Olympics are completed, but I thought I'd get the perspective of a parent of an athlete. I'll be having a chat with Stu Beltz who is the proud father of Silver winning Kookaburra, Josh Beltz. He'll be letting us know a bit about what it's like watching his son on the world stage. If you're of a certain vintage, you may remember who Wilhelmina W Witchiepoo was. She was played by Billie Hayes who passed away of natural causes a couple of weeks ago. A short musical tribute to her and H R Puff n' Stuff. Also some new tunes from local artists, Liz Stringer and Basement Spaceman (Eltham).

On GrEggs Benedict this week we're down to Number 97 on best Aussie Albums with "Tea and Sympathy" by Bernard Fanning- a classic from 2005.
Also in the segment, "History Never Repeats" we'll learn how our own Raelene Boyle was cheated out of a pair of Gold Medals.
And a musical tribute to Michael Collins who died this week? Who? The guy that went all that way to the moon, but waited back in the Command Module as Neil and Buzz took all of the attention.
