Psychonauts 2 - Review
With a deeply human story carried by weird, fantastical, humorous, and charismatic cast of characters, Psychonauts 2 is a rare gem of a video game tackling mental health in the most creative of ways. It's comparable to Disney's Inside Out (and other Peter Docter features) mixed with Tim Burton weirdness, and seasoned with that signature Double Fine dark humour.
Will definitely see this as forerunner for best in art direction, voice acting and story at the game awards.
Enjoyment @ 5/5
So as a noob black mage main
Gathered the courage and been doing extreme fights lately (2 years after expansion launch). Thank you friends for helping me! It's tough transitioning from the freedom of movement of a ranged DPS to a glass turret that is the black mage. To more Extreme trials!
Also, please try FF14 and don't worry its single player RPG first and MMORPG second. FREE TRIAL UP UNTIL LEVEL 60 or end of 1st expansion (basically 2 JRPGs worth of content) :)
Why you should play Psychonauts 2?
One of the most overlooked games of the year that will definitely bag some GOTY nominations later this year!
FF14 - That epic moment in boss fights
That epic moment in boss fights when everyone dies but the tank and there's 1% health remaining, do we make it? will we save the world? OMG I DONT WANT TO DIE!

Tales of Arise Demo Preview
Wow this game looks gorgeous, sounds epic, and plays like a dream. WILL DEFINITELY PREORDER!
Aaaand DONE. THAT WAS A GOOD SEQUEL! support this franchise :)
Pros:
*continues the prev. game more than just fan service
* the battle system is waay more fun
* the clothes and food systems are waay more useful
* love the new skill tree
* loveable and memorable characters
* distinct art direction
* good voice acting
* catchy jrock, jpop music
* satisfying ending, but open enough for a sequel
Cons:
* majority of the dialogue is not voiced which is a shame
* the lower budget shows w/ the 3d graphics and environments
* takes a while for the plot to get going to acquaint newcomers. Will probably feel longer if you know the rules and mechanics of the prev. game's plot.
* still has lots of plot questions left unanswered
Playtime: 35 hours (3 weeks)
Rating: 8/10
an overall improved sequel to a cult ds jrpg classic
Neo the world ends with you battle
So, I've been playing for 10 hours. AND OMG YOU HAVE TO PLAY THE FIRST GAME or WATCH THE ANIME if you want to get the most out of the sequel/this game. Everything is an improvement over the ds original. The downsides so far are I WISH EVERYTHING WAS FULLY VOICE ACTED and it takes a while to ramp up like every 40 hour jrpg.
