Be sure to listen to our NEWEST Interview with the incredible Blues/Rock artist DANA FUCHS!
Jim and Mike talk to Dana Fuchs about here new album BORROW TIME (the album went to #4 on billboard's blue's charts), RECORDING of the new album, TOURING, BONO and more! A great fun interview!
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT DANA FUCHS:
Dana Fuchs is one of the most coveted blues rock stars in the world today. A singer whose hypnotic voice and presence, has led critics to compare her to Janis Joplin, Otis Redding and Mick Jagger. Dana's records receive fantastic reviews, and she has been in the top 10 on the world's most important sales list - Billboard in the USA. Dana stars as Sadie in ‘Across the Universe’, nominated for Best Picture at the Golden Globe Awards. Today, Dana returns to her Southern Rock roots and her home label, Ruf Records to deliver the rawest, rockingest, musical offering of her album-making career. With this release, Borrowed Time, we are treated to a deliciously dangerous collection of incredible songs and lyrics that run the gamut from barn-burning rockers to tear-jerking ballads, and we find Dana, the singer-songwriter, at the top of her game, a master of her craft, supported by a cast of dangerous musicians who have managed to capture the tornado in a bottle intensity, urgency, power, restraint and passion of Dana's live show on a studio album. Produced by Bobby Harlow at Black River House, nestled in rural Croswell. MI, a midwestern factory town that provided the ideal setting for Dana to unleash her American roots, rock, soul. Get ready for a rockin' ride! Dana Fuchs | Borrowed Time, available everywhere via Ruf Records

NEW PODCAST!
I interviewed Grace & Aaron from UK (Essex England) blues rock band "WHEN RIVERS MEET"
We talk about their new album "saving grace", the "testify" video, the UK Blues Awards, Meatloaf, Touring and more!
About WHEN RIVERS MEET:
Since bursting on to the UK Blues scene with their debut record ‘The Uprising EP’ in April 2019 followed by their second EP ‘Innocence Of Youth’ in May 2020, Grace and Aaron have been going from strength to strength. The British husband and wife duo have an ever-growing online fan base and have gained the attention of Cerys Matthews’ The Blues Show on BBC Radio 2.
Their unique harmonic vocal-led approach to song writing, dirty electric guitar, slide resonator mandolin and fiddle create a unique distinctive and contemporary blues rock sound that echoes 1970s classic rock with hints of the 1930s blues that inspire them.
Before lockdown, the duo toured the UK in their self-converted VW camper with an impressive tour schedule. Since the lockdown, the duo live stream on Facebook every Saturday at 8pm GMT for their ‘Rock The Lockdown’ series attracting hundreds of thousands of views.
This year has been a big year for the band. Earlier this year they won 4 UK Blues awards and have appeared in 3 magazines (2 on the cover) over the last month.
Their new ablum "SAVING GRACE" was realeased on November 19, 2021.
COPYRIGHT CLAIM: the songs "I CAN'T FIGHT THIS FEELING", "TESTIFY", "SHOOT THE BREEZE" and "DON'T TELL ME GOODBYE" used with permission from Peter Noble & When Rivers Meet
