SESHEKE WOMAN ENDS HER OWN LIFE OVER LAND

A 60-year-old woman of Sesheke District in has ended her own life after some differences over a piece of land with her village mate.

According to ZANIS, Lusu ward councillor, Namenda Namenda says that Agnes Kamwi of Mubita Kaliwewe village in Mazaba area of Sesheke and Clement Mihupulo of the same village had a quarrel over a piece of land.

Mr Namenda said later in the evenings, Ms Kamwi was not seen at her house, a situation which brought worries amongst her neighbours.

He said neighbours mobilized and looked for her in the nearby villages but could not find her until her body was found it in the forest hanging to a tree and the matter was reported to the police.

The resurrected man , Gift sikachila who was buried on the 28th November 2022 in Luampa district. Gift who is commonly known among the football fraternity, he used to play as a striker. He played his games in Luampa, Kaoma and Nkeyema districts.

He was only found today in the farms of Kalumwange area in Kaoma district. Meanwhile, two old men who are the buyers wanted to claim that he was their son, until they were mobbed and started begging to be spared.

However, the two old men have since been arrested and detained in Kaoma police.

TWO SUSPECTS NABBED OVER THE DEATH A YOUNG GIRL IN SESHEKE

Police in Sesheke district have arrested two suspects in connection with the death of a young girl called Naomi wamui, who her body was found dead in the early hours, 06:00hrs on Saturday in Sesheke.

Naomi wamuwi was brutally murdered on 1st October 2022and stripped naked but not r***d. However two suspects are currently detained in police custody.

The family of Naomi have called for justice to prevail in their daughter's demise. The want police and relevant authorities to act and bring whoever was involved in the book.
