Riccardo Filippo Cannarella born in 1989 in Italy is known as Ricky Hype and he is a multi genre music producer and award winning mixing and mastering engineer.
Ricky started his professional career in Amsterdam Netherlands and he is now based in Milan Italy.
During his career Ricky Hype worked with artists like Vybz Kartel, Stonebwoy, Its Natascha, Shockman, Bay-C, Rre, and many others.
When it comes to dancehall music Ricky Hype is one of the most requested mixing and mastering engineer because of his experience and use of analog gear, a lot of producers do not release their music unless he puts his final touch on it.

Music is a major part of my life. Since I can remember, I occupy myself with all aspects of music. I try to spend every free moment expanding my knowledge and tools, so I can enrich any project I take part in, with innovative ideas.
I Love making music with people and enjoy the interaction that brings out creativity. I enjoy working with musicians, helping them to find their own unique sound, adapting their materials and be there with them, turning an idea to reality.
My process, among the rest, involves guidance and preproduction dialogue sessions, searching the suitable instruments, the right tone and melody, in the way to find the right vibe, sound and color that will bring the maximum potential and qualities out of the project.

Watch Out For Our Interview With Shawn

Shawn Everette began to sing solos at the tender age of 13 and began writing and producing songs for himself soon after he discovered that gift. Throughout his young adulthood, in his own studio, he developed a love and gift for working with midi devices and recording audio. After graduating high school 1989 he was accepted in a brand-new Audio Engineering Program at Nassau Community College in 1989. That lasted a year. Then he went on to Five Towns College in Dix Hills, New York to further his broad based technical and musical training. There he underwent intensive vocal training and learned some music theory, but his major was Audio Recording. Upon Graduating he moved on to Maryland where he attended Morgan State University acquiring a degree in T.V. Studio Production. After Graduating he worked in a local recording studio, gaining additional experience in producing and engineering. Other Jobs include Mikes Train House as a sound designer for electric Hobby Trains. For 8 years Shawn was a Minister of music at Living Waters where he recorded and produced a record entitled Release The waters. During that same time, he worked in Baltimore Public schools teaching audio engineering, music production and song writing techniques. During all this time Shawn always had a home recording set up where he recorded his music and produced music for others such as WEAA music spots and BGE training videos and small budget video projects. In 2009 He began a Job working at Evangel Cathedral where many world-renowned Gospel artist frequent. There he mixed for artist such as Yolanda Adams, Fred Hammond, Ledisi, Mary Mary, Karren Clark Sheard, Detrick Haddon, The Winans, BB and CeCe Winans, worked on Richard Smallwood live recording Anthology and Marvin Sapp’s Grammy Nominee album I Win. Shawn Everette presently works as an audio engineer at Ebenezer AME Church in Fort Washington Maryland where the Director of the Music Department is Ricky Dillard with Byron Cage also as a director. He continues to sharpen his skills as an audio engineer and record music that enlightens, challenges and moves the soul.

He moved to the eastern United States in the early 2000s and began working as an Audio Engineer in the underground hip-hop scene where one of his first gigs was a Jay-Z record. Early on, IRKO realized the importance of creating a personal brand, so he developed his signature style of wearing a bow tie to all of his sessions at Bad Boy Records. After many years working on the east coast, IRKO's career led him to Los Angeles, California where he currently works as a mixing engineer. IRKO also has a channel where he hosts a documentary series on mixing sessions and sound manufacturing facilities, his vlog and more.
