The official Call of Duty Twitter account is teasing that the new contract will be added to Warzone on Wednesday at 10:30am PDT / 1:30pm EDT / 6:30pm BST, the same day the Black Ops - Cold War reveal is scheduled to take place. Activision has already teased that the reveal for the upcoming Call of Duty game will be tied into Warzone in some way, and it sounds like this may be the first step.

How to watch Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War reveal in Warzone

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is scheduled for a “worldwide reveal”, taking place in Warzone on Wednesday, August 26, at 6:30pm BST.
To watch the reveal, it would appear you need to do two things:

First, you have to jump into a game of Warzone and complete the special Black Ops Cold War contract which is now live in the battle royale mode.

Contracts are missions you can find throughout a game in Warzone, which give you a random mission to complete from killing an enemy player to collecting supply caches for a reward.

Once that's done, all you need to do is make sure you're logged into Warzone at 6:30 pm BST and wait patiently for the trailer to go live.

It seems like you don't need to be in a Warzone match specifically to see the reveal and it is something you'll be able to watch from the Lobby.

While Activision hasn't confirmed or denied you must complete this contract to catch the reveal, it's better to be safe than sorry.

The reveal is expected to be a trailer showing off the first-ever gameplay of the upcoming title.

The Warzone NUKE Event is NOT tomorrow, that event will be happening later on and will transition Warzone to Black Ops Cold War. Tomorrow, Sgt. Frank Woods will turn up, cross his arms and talk to u about COD, then the trailer will play.

Black Ops Cold War reveal trailer tomorrow will feature 10 seconds of multiplayer! (The rest is presumably campaign)

Warzone event will kick off via a mission involving Sgt. Frank Woods

Lets do a quick sum up on What we know about Cold War ATM

- Dead Silence returns as a Perk
- Normal Minimap is back
- Ground War returns
- New Scorestreak/Killstreak Hybrid System
- Maps vary in location, design and playstyle
- Sliding returns
- 150 Health, but weapons deal more damage

New and Old Black Ops Weapons leaked so far:
- M16A2
- AK5
- AK74u
- C**t Commando
- MP5
- Socimi Type 821 (U*i clone)
- Type 63
- Stoner 63
- Type 15
- M40 Sniper
- Stim Equipment returns
- New and Old Weapons featured
- Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed and a new mode called VIP for Multiplayer
- EKIA returns
- 12v12 game mode

Create-A-Class is a Pick-10/Classic Hybrid:
- Gunsmith returns but is limited and not over-complex as MW
- Each Weapon has 5 base attachment slots
- 3 Perk Tiers
- Warlord Perk from BO1 returns in a new way - you can max out extra attachment slots

Multiplayer Maps are unique and play in different ways:
- Miami Map - 6v6 3-laned but biggish, set on a beach, club & hotel
- 12v12 Ocean Map set across 3 warships that you can zipline across - Swimming mechanic returns as the Ocean map has sunken areas to explore
Black Ops Cold War Graphics are on par, if not, better than MW's graphics. Map environments have that classic Treyarch vibrant colour palette and are more visually appealing while staying realistic. Also less clutter on the maps.

- Tank Map - 6v6 close quarters, set around a tank building facility - This map was leaked a couple of months ago
- Desert Map - Possibly set in North Africa - Big open map - Looks similar to Sinai Desert from Battlefield 1 - Features Supply Crates on map to change class/get ammo
