What a time we are living in. A time to pull back, reflect, get comfortable with being uncomfortable, learn through feeling. A time to revisit what we thought we knew and think we know. Re-evaluate what we represent. Check-in. Rewrite the past by correcting ourselves to be more aligned with Truth and not repeating the fear driven missteps of our ancestral lines. As the sun sets on each day I encourage you to reflect on the day and simply decide what you’ll do differently in the next to get closer to Truth.

On work calls where I am just listening, I pick up a pen and doodle. I think of it as a subconscious symbolism dump. I always wonder if my drawings could be interpreted and what story they would tell. Mostly it just feels good to put pen to paper and draw or write. Right?

Whether the intention is to share your thoughts / words / ideas or to just get them out, bringing them out of our heads and onto paper helps us hear them in a different way. Maybe there’s a message for you to hear. Maybe seeing all of the negative talk will help dissipate its power. Maybe there are insights for others that have been translated from your life and a reminder benefits you as much as everyone else.
Whenever I’m feeling super negative and self loathing, I write it out. As I’m writing and seeing the horrible things that I’m capable thinking about myself, I think how ridiculous they are and I don’t actually believe these terrible things. It’s hard to see and then dissolves the power of those words. The same goes when I’m writing to share and I get to an insight, I think, “how does this apply to me?” There is always growth in it. There is always a truth to be mined and felt. 🤍
