So, I heard this today. They are releasing unreleased footage of the 1986 discovery of the Titanic. The Titanic is 12,000+ feet below the surface of the North Atlantic.
The person said it would be nice if they took modern equipment to re-video the find. He also said they should do this in the summer months, because the water is warmer. When I asked why the water temperature would make a difference, he replied, "well I wouldn't want to dive in that cold water."
In my opinion, he honestly thought a human was scuba diving 12,000 feet down to the Titanic. He also said, "I bet your ears would really pop."
My motto stands true: You can't fix stupid.
