While this is a business page, businesses are made up of people! As we celebrate Mothers all around the world, I want to celebrate 2 special ladies - my birth Mother and my Grandmother, who are no longer with us but helped shaped me to be the woman I am today.

Neither of them were perfect, but they taught me many valuable lessons about what it means to be a woman and a Mom. Through their example, I learned the type of woman and Mom I did and even did not want to be!

I most certainly have not perfected the art of being a Mom myself, but I am honored to have had both these incredibly strong women in my life to give me some kind of roadmap. They both taught me that even though life happens, who I am is who I choose to be. No one else is to blame for the choices I make! I certainly make mistakes, but every day I consciously choose to be better than I was yesterday. They also taught me that my mistakes and other people's choices and words that affect me, will only define me if I allow them to and that family isn't always related through blood!

Happy Mothers Day Mom and Gran - I love, honor, respect and miss you both more than words can say.
