Dates halwa firstly, in a large bowl soak 2 cup dates in 1 cup hot water for 30 minutes. blend to smooth paste.Transfer the dates paste to a large kadai. add ¼ cup ghee and mix well. keeping the flame on medium, keep stirring until the ghee is absorbed well. Again add 2 tbsp ghee and stir for 30 minutes.
Add fried cashews and cardamom powder. Finally the paste seperates from pan and transfer to greased plate. Let it cool for 30 minutes and cut in any of your desired shape. The delicious Dates halwa ready to taste.Serve it for your family and guest.

Maida - 1 cup
sugar - 2 1/2 cup
Baking Soda - 1/4 tsp
salt - 1/2 tsp
Ghee - 2 tbsp
water - 1 cup (gradually)
lemon Juice - 5 drops
cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
Oil - for Deep Fry

Method:
======
Make the dough and soak for 1/2 hr.
Make the sugar syrup.
Flatten the ball and press it in center.
Deep fry it in oil.
Keep in medium flame.
Dip and soak in hot syrup for 10 mins.
Drain it and garnish with nuts...
Serve it chill.

Ingredients;

ghee - 1 tsp
grated coconut - 1 cup
sugar - 1 cup
water as required
cardamom powder - 1 tsp

Method:

Add ghee to pan.
Add grated coconut
Stir for few mins in low flame.
It absorbs ghee and light golden colour.
Transfer to jar and grind as coarse powder.
same pan add sugar and water.
Let it dissolves .
Add coconut to syrup.
Add cardamom powder.
It becomes thick..
Transfer to greased tray...
Finally , after 5 mins cut into pieces ..

Bread Slices - 6
Milk - 1/2 cup
Sugar - 1/2 Cup
Butter - 1 tbsp
vannilla essence - 1/2 tsp

Method:

Cut the bread into small cubes.
Toast it until it becomes crisp.
Keep the pan.
Add butter.
Add sugar.
Sugar melts slowly.
When colour changes add milk to it.
Stir well and it boils..
Keep in low flame add vanilla essence.
Mix well.
Add toasted bread.
Turn off the flame..
Coat well.
Transfer to plate.
Let it cool.
Now the caramel bread popcorn ready...

TAMARIND- 1(LEMON SIZED)
CHILLY POWDER - 1 TBSP
TURMERIC POWDER - 1/4 TSP
ASFOETIDA/HING - 1/2 TSP
GREEN CHILLY - 2(FINELY CHOPPED)
COCONUT OIL - 2 TBSP
RED CHILLY - 2
CURRY LEAVES - FEW
WATER - 1/2 CUP
SALT - AS REQUIRED
JAGGERY - 1/4 CUP

METHOD:
========

HEAT THE COCONUT OIL.
FRY GINGER AND GREEN CHILLY TILL GOLDEN BROWN COLOUR.
ADD CHILLY POWDER,TURMERIC POWDER,AND ASFOETIDA.
ADD TAMARIND JUICE.
LET IT BOIL FOR 5 MINS.
ADD SALT AND JAGGERY.
COOK FOR 1 MIN.
TURN OFF THE FLAME.
FOR SEASONING...
ADD MUSTARD SEED AND URAD DAL.
ADD CURRY LEAVES AND RED CHILLY

Ingredients:
Boiled rice - 1 cup
Onion - 1(finely chopped)
Green chilly - 2 ( chopped)
Curry leaves - few
Coriander leaves - few
Chilly powder - 1/2 tbsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt - as required
oil-1 tsp
Make it round shape balls
Deep fry in oil
Once it reahes light golden colour..
Serve it hot with tea...
Rice balls ready!!!

CUTLET is one of the tasty snacks for all age people...
Soya Chunks Cutlet is different type of recipe which is good for health..

Ingredients:

Soya - 70 gms
ginger - 1 piece
garlic - 4 cloves
green chilly - 3
chat masala - 1 tsp
garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
Salt as required
maida - 1 cup
corn flour - 1/2 cup
Water - 3 tbsp
Oil for shallow fry

METHOD:

Soak Soya in Hot water for 1 Hour.
Grind green chilly, ginger , garlic, soaked soya..
Add chat masala, garam masala, salt, maida, corn flour...
mix well with water...
make a ball and flaten it..
Shallow fry in oil..
serve it with sauce...

These potato cheese balls are crispy, with melted cheese in the middle, and coated with bread crumbs. Easy to prepare, healthy and really addictive.

Boiled Drumstick seeds
curry leaves
Coriander Leaves
Ginger -1 piece chopped
Green Chilly - 1(finely chopped)
Asfoetida -1 pinch
gram Flour -1/2 cup
Rice Flour -1/4 cup
red chilly powder-1/2 tbsp
coriander powder -1 tsp
garam masala - 1/2 tsp
turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Mix well.
deep fry in oil.
it reaches golden colour.
Serve it hot with Chutney.

Bombay / Karachi halwa is a popular Indian sweet dish made with cornflour .. easy and quick Indian sweet perfect for any indian festival.
INGREDIENTS:

CORN FLOUR - 1/2 CUP
WATER - 1 1/2 CUP
SUGAR - 1 1/4 CUP
LEMON JUICE - 1 TBSP
GHEE - 4 TBSP
ORANGE / RED FOOD COLOUR - 1/4 TSP
CARDAMOM POWDER - 1/4 TSP
CASHEW,ALMOND, PISTACHIOS - FEW

METHOD:

Bombay halwa / cornflour halwa
firstl in a large kadai / non-stick pan take sugar add water. allow the syrup to boil. pour corn flour mixture into the boiling sugar syrup. furthermore, stirring continuously on low-medium flame. once the corn flour mixture starts to boil, and starts to thicken. immediately add a tsp of lemon juice.
add ghee, food colour, cardamom powder ...
pour in greased mould.
level it and garnish with chopped nuts.
cool completely 2 hrs.
cut into pieces..
enjoy the halwa taste..

Ingredients:

Eggs -4
Salt as required
Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
Green chilly - 1(finely chopped)
Onion - 1(finely chopped)
Tomato - 1(finely chopped)
Grated cabbage - 1/2 cup
Grated carrot - 1/2 cup
Coriander - few(chopped)

Method:
Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
Make the batter ..
Pour some oil..
Pour spoon of batter.
Turn and cook both sides.
Keep in low flame.
Serve it hot..

Lord krishna loves poha and here is an easy and quick recipe of poha with sugar and grated coconut for this janmashtami.This burfi is very simple and quick to make as the ingredients are readily available at home.

Ingredients:

Poha(soaked) - 1/2 cup
Ghee - 1 tbsp
Milk - 1 cup
Dessicated coconut - 2 tbsp
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Chopped nuts..

Method:

Wash and soak poha for 10 mins.
Add ghee in a pan.
Mix and cook ( rava,poha, milk, dessicated coconut, sugar...)
Boil for 2 mins..
Becomes soft dough..
Seperates from pan..
Pour the mixture in greased tray.
Keep it in fridge for 30 mins.
Cut and garnish with some chopped nuts.
Enjoy the taste of poha burfi...
