The County's finances are in such disarray that the CPA firm, hired by the County, reported last night that they couldn't say for sure whether the County is in the black or the red because there are still hundreds of thousand of dollars unaccounted for. Also, they said that they don't know how long it will take straighten the mess out or how long it's been going on. The person responsible is the manager Bryan Miller.

Why did Bryan Miller only ask one commissioner to meet with Ceasars Casino group? Why didn't he contact all of the commissioners to let them know and they select who meets with the group? The same sneaky tactics Miller has always used. He's got to go!

The very first vote Rose made as a commissioner was to spite the Republican Party by voting for the most liberal member of the board. Rose had a chance for vote for a fellow Republican and chose to be spiteful and voted for the democrat. Is Frankie Rose's childish behavior going to continue? We will find out soon.

Why did Frankie Rose call a private citizen and threaten him by saying "you know I'm still a Deputy" after complaining about something on Facebook. It looks like he has already violated ethics rules by threatening a citizen in just his first week of being sworn in. Apparently Rose doesn't take ethics seriously but we do. We will get a ruling from the NC State Ethics Commission as to whether this is acceptable behavior for an elected official. We will let you know what we find out.

It appears that some politicians don't like the Forum telling the truth. We have never told a politician how to vote nor would we. They are elected by the people to represent them and we expect them to. We will continue to let the readers know how their government is being run. When they do the right thing we will compliment them and thank them, however when they do something detrimental to the county and it's taxpayers we will spotlight it. If Mr. Rose votes conservative we will be the first ones to thank him, but with that said, we will not hesitate to expose, with a bright light, his and their bad votes.

The very first meeting Rick McVey has found his political soulmate. They voted with each other 100% time in the first meeting. Both voting for Ultra Liberal Nate Hall for Chairman over their fellow Republicans. We thought it would save time to sit Rose beside McVey so Rick wouldn't have to reach far to make Rose's lips move.

The very first vote that the commissioners made today was the vote to elect the Chairman. Below you will see Fake Republican Frankie Rose casting the tie breaking vote for Nate Hall, the most liberal commissioner ever, while refusing to support a fellow Republican. We tried to tell the voters of District 1 that Rose was a Democrat pretending to be a Republican just to get elected and he proved us right. If there ever was a person suited for the term RINO it's Rose.

Politics is about opinions and we have our own opinions and we express them here as do other people.. As far as any candidate telling us what to say and post is ridiculous. If we step on some politicians toes, they probably needed it and we will continue to hold them accountable. A lifelong Democrat who changed his party affiliation to Republican mere days before the deadline to do so to run for County Commissioner. He has never openly supported a Republican. When asked why, he never answers honestly. Now we see where he was demoted. What did he do to deserve such a harsh reprimand? There is a lot about Frankie Rose we don't know... yet!
