LOOK: Deaf artist Dan Paul Gonzales from Davao City wowed netizens with his hyperrealistic artwork on Sunday.

The 29-year-old artist gained attention on social media for his talent as a realism painter.

His post of his mango artwork on the page “Filipino Artists, Painters, Sculptors, & Collectors” earned praise from netizens and garnered over 368,000 likes as of this posting.

Gonzales said it took him two months to complete the artwork, adding that he painted it in order to provide for his family.

For some paintings, Gonzales often uses sign language to explain the artwork. The self-taught artist said he began drawing at seven years old to express his feelings and emotions. 📷 Dan Paul Gonzales/Facebook
