What a year 2021 was..

A year where I learned a ton, did a ton, had adventures and really lived my life.

Thanks to everyone who was along for the ride. There’s way to many people to mention, but thank you all.

I got some things in the work and hitting the ground running for 2022 🤟🏻

Been up island at my cousins and parents for the last week or so and I always forget how beautiful it is around here

There’s nothing to do after 6oclock except drive around, but it sure is beautiful!

It was a two day project where me and went out and filmed and took photos to populate the content of their brand new website (check it out, Sam absolutely killed it with the photography…)

While we were filming this, there was actually forest fires around Oliver and on the first day the fires actually shut the power off.. so it got a little stressful for a second haha. But we came back day 2 at 5:45 am and filmed the rest and couldn’t have been happier with the results!

Crab 🦀

This was taken from a fishing derby where we lost by .5 of a pound while fishing for Coho.

It was wild, we left at 8am and had 9 fish in the boat by 10:30am. In total we caught 20 fish (catch and release after 10) and had 5 legal crabs in our trap by the end.

One of my favourite parts of the day was at 1am when we cooked it all and ate crab around the table while drinking beers and talking about life. Living for the small moments 🦀

Sunrise or Sunset. Cameras always at the ready.

I’ve been finding more and more lately that I’ve been filming and shooting for passion, instead of strictly focusing on client work and I once again found my drive for what I do.
Those videographers, photographers, artistic people in general. Don’t forget to follow passion and create for fun. It’ll bring that spark of passion and joy back in your life 🤟🏻

This is my buddy Tom!

Tom’s a pretty rad dude. He’s Incredibly talented when it comes to video, and he does an amazing job when it comes bike park riding. He filmed some of the clips in the last video I posted called “The Yard” (you can tell which are his 😉)

He started and he posted a few pretty sweet videos and a couple I’ve collabed on with him!

Anyways, I don’t show appreciation enough for the people around me sometimes so here’s to you Tom!

I got invited to film some of my buddies ride their bikes at .nichol ‘s yard (full on bike park don’t let anyone else fool you). So me and decided to both shoot and share the footage to make something rad 🤟🏻

Summers slowly coming to an end, but that doesn’t mean adventures gotta end too.

I think this summer has been the best summer of my life. I finally got to do the things I wanted, when I wanted. If you’re someone who’s wanting to start a business, or has an idea, just fu***ng go for it. Trust me. You’ll learn so much about yourself, life, and create new opportunities that you didn’t even know we’re possible.

Island Summer

Had a little weekend get away with some good pals.
We took sailboat over to Sidney spit and camped on the beach for a few days

A few drinks, laughs, exploring, and flashlight tag. Little tip, if you wear contacts like me, don’t take them out to play flashlight tag 😅🤟🏻

Or at least to that mountain peak

This was this super rad lake we found up island near the town of Woss. There’s a cave system near by, and somehow all these logs don’t stop the river that flows through the cave system.

The fun part of this was trying to remember which logs you stepped on, on the way out, because on the way back not all the lots stayed afloat when you walked on them 😅😅

The 2021 Limited Edition Toyota Tacoma.

Anyone who knows me, knows my dream truck is a Tacoma. People tell me often to shut up once I bring it up..

Big shout-out to for giving me the opportunity to make a video of the 2021 Toyota Tacoma.

A huge part of who I am as a creative is collaborating and creating with other creatives. It’s so much fun and you can learn so much from other people. It’s super cool seeing how everyone has a different style, and a different process 🤟🏻

Triathlete in her element 🚴🏻‍♀️

Had so much fun shooting shots at their training camp in Penticton!
They had to battle all the elements including getting almost smoked out by a forest fire, but they battled though 🤟🏻

I’ve also been having more fun creating more challenging shots.
Playing with motion is super hard, but can be extremely rewarding!

This shot was taken at 1/50 shutter 50 ISO and an aperture of 2.8 🤟🏻
