Sarfaranga desert also called Skardu Cold desert located in the Shigar district at a height of 7,500 feet. On the way to Shigar, one cannot miss it. Nature unfolds itself with a vast variety in this desert. The desert is surrounded by mountains and the Indus river is flowing nearby. Sunset is beautiful here. The calmness of a desert is at its best a surprising and mesmerising experience with sunset at top of sand dunes.

Skardu Fort is also known as Kharpocho fort. In the Balti language, Khar means ”Fort”, and the Kharphocho means “The King of Forts .”It is located in Skardu, Pakistan’s Gilgit-Baltistan region. The fort is perched above the river’s junction and overlooks Skardu’s Rock and thus giving a panoramic view of the whole Skardu. Satpara Lake is situated at an elevation of 2,636 meters (8,650 ft) above sea level and is spread over an area of 2.5 km

The local people believe that there is a gold mine beneath the lake. They further say that the satpara lake water always shines because of this reason. The lake as well as the surrounding area is eye-catching and will fascinate you.

Deosai National Park is a high-altitude alpine plain (plateau) and National Park located between and Skardu Districtand ([Astore District])and (Kharmang District)in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan.[1]

Deosai Plains are situated at an average elevation of 4,114 metres (13,497 ft) above sea level and considered as the second highest plateaus in the world.[2]
