News we've been waiting anxiously to be able to announce: We've signed a contract with S. A. Hoque to publish her debut novel SITARA: LADY OF THE LOTUS!

13-year-old Princess Sitara is the daughter of N’daian nobles who emigrated to the Korean kingdom, Oreka, many years ago. Despite being born and raised in the Orekan palace, Sitara struggles to reconcile cultural and religious differences with other Orekans. Her anxiety further hinders her ability to speak her mind and make decisions when she attends the Royal Academy where all must find a way to serve the palace or risk expulsion.

The story follows Sitara's three years at the Academy, the friends she finds, the relationships that develop, and the choices she must make. It's a wonderful story of a girl balancing fitting in and figuring out how to be herself, and when our editor received the full MS, she read it in one sitting, it was just THAT GOOD.
