Similar to my previous Makise Kurisu casual/low cost cosplay, I made use of clothes I already had or can find under a budget in a short span of time (less than a week). I wanted to do a more popular character for the audience/crowd impact, but I felt strongly about the Fate series during this time and so I went with Rin Tohsaka in her school uniform from Fate Stay Night.

STORY TIME THROWBACK! (coz I have nothing new to share)

I've been a fan of animes, mangas, video games for as long as I can remember and it has been one of my dreams or goals to cosplay different characters, especially my favorite characters in events. It was during Cosplay Mania when I tried to do a little bit of casual cosplay with the things I have in my wardrobe. I also remember that the crowd back then wasn't as intense as the recent years. Anyway, apart from this attempt, I also did a little bit of themed dress up during school and office events in the past few years. But as years went on and life happened, it remained as just a dream.
So here I was as a more casual Makise Kurisu from Steins Gate. Sadly, I didn't have a long redish brown wig and a red necktie, so it was kinda lacking overall.

2021-10-29 | Pandemic Halloween

There was a time when I was asked to do make-up for a Virtual Halloween Party. I'm not really that confident in with my make up skills but I did still try.

So far, the results were actually pretty decent haha! The forehead part of the headpiece was out of paper mache and could have used a bit more polishing but it was rushed, so I just blurred out the joint in the photos. Good thing I still had some white face paint and I borrowed a few make up products from my sister haha!

In the end, he won their office contest, so I guess it was pretty good for someone with little skills doing make up for others.

2023-11-04 | ESGS 2023 DAY 2 Pt. 4

We stayed around a few places while we were waiting and roaming around. Sandayu Oda gave in and became the next challenger at the Tekken 8 booth. We also got some shots at the Asus ROG booth. It would have been cooler if his mantis blade made it in time, but I guess it's for another time. I'm still glad to have caught the cosplays and guest interview over at Cosplay Village.

We spent quite a lot of resting time at the Globe Booth and the photo sessions at the Team Fight Tactics Area. We also dropped by the League of Legenda booth. It was druing these times when I fangirled so hard mentally. Pinawisan ako sa excitement.

This was also where we spent our time waiting (UNTIL CLOSING) for someone to arrive. 😩 That really broke my patience but I'm trying to move on from it.

Since I'm too preoccupied for a Halloween post or, in this case, a Post-Halloween post, here's a throwback to my first Halloween Party at work. Not too bad for a first time though. The eyeshadow could have been more equal but meh, it still looks decent enough. Anyway! Belated Halloween to everyone. Also, shoutout to my bestie Cial who's with me on the 1st photo.

Now that I was able to collect my freebies, I now have more time to chill, roam around and have pictures with fellow Hoyo fans and cosers! Thank you so much to everyone who had their pictures taken with me and to everyone who compliemented me and my cosplay. As a newbie coser, I genuinely appreciate it! I dropped by again, but this time with the goal of getting the freebies that I don't have yet. At around 6PM, the only line left was for the photo booth and every booth had run out of freebies, thus no more line. The merch was also almost swiped clean. After I got the few ones I was missing, I just got more selfies with a few more cosplayers.

I dropped by again after work, but this time, every booth ran out of freebies even when I arrived at the same time as last night. Still don't have anything from the Tears of Themis booth. After the line fiasco during its first weekend, I decided to drop by after work to see how things are. Given the limited space this year, the event feels cramped and crowded for me. Anyways, got some freebies and took pictures of the booths as well. I also saw cosplayers of Kaeya and Ganyu. Despite being sweaty from the intense brisk walk from our office to the venue I was still stunned to have received a compliment that I still looked fresh. All I can say is thanks, stress is the secret. Hahaha! Anyway, hope I can drop by again this weekend as Stelle.

2023-10-14 | Honkai: Star Rail x Mann Hann Time to Feast Astral Express Pit Stop

One of my "kilig" moments is having pictures taken with my beloved Dan Heng / Imbebetor Lunae! When we got there the Dan Heng coser was in line, right in front of us. At first, I was controlling myself coz we just got there, but I couldn't contain it so I asked for a picture. The line was pretty long then, so we couldn't see the restaurant front or the other cosers on the restaurant side. But as we were getting closer, I saw FreeXa as Imbebetor Lunae and jumped with excitement as I dragged my companion to take our picture. My excitement then heightened to see another Imbebetor Lunae cosplayed by Zackt. ザックト. I just had to have a picture with both of them. My trailblazer heart is super happy! 💚🤍

I debuted my Stelle costume today and I was so ecstatic to have received compliments like "ang ganda ng costume/cosplay mo" from Sh4ne and FreeXa. I was also happy to meet some fellow Stelle cosplayers. The highlight of my day though was to have been able to have a quick photoshoot with the Trailblazer's beloved "Trash Can".

Debuting my Stelle costume for today! The video was taken at around 2:00 PM (we arrived at around 10:30 AM (I read that there were a lot of running when the mall opened), and the line still goes on and on at the back. So I took some photos of the standees on display outside the restaurant. Oh to take home Dan Heng as Imbibitor Lunae.

2023-10-11 | Honkai Star Rail Astral Express Pit Stop Event

Making time for this! Took some time off work to drop by the Honkai: Star Rail x Mann Hann Collab Event. It's Day 1 of the event and at the storefront, a cute Pompom mascot greets you and keeps you company as you wait in line for yout turn to enter the restaurant.
-It was a week day and just an hour after mall opening and there was already a line (what more if it's already the weekend event). The staff was organized about the line and how to control the flow of the people so kudos to them and good luck to the weekend event.

I ordered the Set C Meal: Prawn and Broccoli Pasta, Wild Herb Soup, and color changing Lemonade.
- As a person who prefers red sauce pasta, I loved the prawn and broccoli pasta. I wish that the serving was bigger. The wild herb soup was too bland for me though, it could have been better with a bit more flavor. The color changing lemonade was very refreshing and I liked that the drink changed to a purple color.

I'm not really particular with collecting merch, so I just tried to participate on their social media prompts to acquire some freebies. I was able to get 1 Holographic Ticket! It wasn't the Dan Heng one, but the March 7th one still looks pretty.

The event duration is from October 11, 2023 to November 14, 2023. So, take some time off and drop by Mann Hann at Robinsons Galleria and experience the Time to Feast Astral Express Pit Stop Event.

I haven't really played Little Nightmares 1 and 2 on pc, but I have the opportunity to play the mobile version. On a random stressed out whim, I decided to test it out. So far, it's cute and similar to the pc version in a way, but I find that the controls are a bit more challeging here on mobile.
