This week we had the opportunity to interview Diane Cross from Fraser - Minnesota.

As President and CEO of Fraser, Diane's work sets the strategic vision and course for Fraser, one of the largest nonprofits in the state of Minnesota.

With 64 locations and 33 different services for children and adults with autism. Fraser is the largest and most experienced provider of autism, mental health, and disability services in Minnesota.

As a nonprofit, Fraser provides specialty healthcare, housing, education and community support services to thousands of children and adults with diverse needs and their families.

Diane holds a master's degree in communication disorders, specializing in audiology. She has been recognized with numerous awards and has had the privilege of serving on a variety of community boards.

Hey, listeners! Join us for this week’s episode as we revisit another favorite episode. This week Rachel choose our live in person podcast in Minnesota from May 2023. Recording the podcast live and in person was such an amazing moment for all of us, and we're thrilled to share it with you again.

Join us for our very first Live Podcast in Minnesota. We had the pleasure of joining our friends at the Care for Caregivers Retreated hosted by Cooper's Voice and More Than Project. There is no doubt that the isolation of this life leaves moms of kids with additional needs longing for mom friends they can relate to. We were honored to be able to record and celebrate the fantastic caregivers in the room in Minnesota.

Hey, listeners join us for this week’s episode as we replay some of our favorite series throughout the summer. This week is Jaime ‘s pick! We loved having Autism with a side of fries by Eileen "Mama Fry" Shaklee with us at the table, so take a seat and join us!

Eileen “Mama Fry” Shaklee is an autism advocate, speaker, writer (sort of), and fundraiser. Her most important project to date is raising her 18 year old autistic son and getting him ready for a world that isn’t always ready for autism. She is married and lives in New Jersey.

We chat with Eileen about the early years after diagnosis, the holidays, and moving from childhood to adulthood for our kids. We also discuss her current project she is working on with Monmouth Ocean Foundation for Children fundraising programming for 21+ adults.

Word of wisdom you will find in the episode, Eileen reminds us to enjoy where we are right now with our kids because you can't go back. We loved talking with Eileen and her amazing advice and spirit are a breath of fresh air in our community.

Dayna Harvey is a Water Safety Expert (educating and empowering parents with information, strategies and hands on tools to keep their children safer in and around water) AND she is a swimming lesson teacher (instructing children in the skills they need to save their lives).

Dayna was first certified in 1988 and she has been impacting families ever since.

The mission to end childhood drowning has intensified as drowning continues to be the #1 cause of accidental death in children under 5.

Dayna and the Waiting Whale kids have created The WATCHING Initiative and The Waiting Whale - Water Safety Kit, important tools for parents to have in their homes as they teach their children "Where there is water, I will WAIT!"

For more information about Dayna Harvey, the Waiting Whales and the Water Safety Kit, visit www.WaterSafetyWithMissDayna.com.

On this episode, we sit down with Kierra Mcisaac to chat about her journey into becoming a Speech Language Pathologist.

She discusses communication disorders as well as growing up with a sister on the autism spectrum. She relates living with her sister with autism and learning about it. It’s fascinating to hear about her journey, and we’re thrilled to have another Mcisaac with us.
