One of my favorite pages on Instagram is BossBabe and I sure do agree with this post from them.
When you put the energy into your content, your craft, and delivering good work, the likes, the number of followers won’t be your utmost priority.
I tell people to rather look at their insights and take a queue from there; engagements, reach, impressions and the likes should rather be your first KPIs. It doesn’t mean the likes & follows don’t matter at all if you’re consistent but don’t stress on that.

As a creative, you should be ready for this and more, I can’t count the number of creatives and social media calendars I’ve had to change but in end, it helps you get better. On the other hand, as a creative that knows his/her onion, you should know when to advise a client professionally from your professional point of view & take your stance.

What is marketing to you? Have you written a marketing plan for your business/brand? Often times the idea of having a marketing plan sounds like a ''big deal'' to some businesses that they tend to miss their objective. Every business/brand that desires any form of awareness needs a marketing plan.
Not to overwhelm or bore you, here are some notable things.

Your content quality and delivery method matter. Having managed some small businesses, some were so focused on sales that they wanted any content to be posted, yen! It may not work that way even if you have great value to offer.
Invest in your content extensively. It doesn't have to be mighty cameras and very professional software. There are free tools, and even with your mobile device, you can create great contents that will appeal to your audience.

* Don’t promise heaven & earth & not deliver 🙏🏼
* Don’t sign contracts you know will hook you when time comes. *make e no choke you* 🤐
* Let client know the realistic expectations to the job.
Don’t get me wrong, you can over deliver but growing a business on social channels isn’t like cartoon 🥺
Do the job and have analytics to show improvements 😎. Improvement & growth is your measure 🙃🙃🥲
