Goldie - a true story 🗓️
At the end of 2022, the idea was born to own an intriguing track car 🤔
We managed to find one partially built (mechanically), but it still lacked a lot for complete happiness. 🫣
We lightened it, built the engine, fixed rust issues, and reinforced the chassis ⚒️
After these efforts, it remained an ugly duckling, but with a great spirit for the track battle 😎
Thanks to (once again😀) and , it transformed into a beautiful green warrior 🥷
To enhance the visual aspect, we gave it lightweight wheels, adding even more character 🛞🔥
She drove through the most of 2023 season without a scratch. Which can only mean one thing - I was clearly driving too slowly 😅
Future plans are quite ambitious (including naturally aspirated 200hp+ with ITB, much larger weight reduction, roll cage + participation in track masters) 🗓️

Pod koniec 2022 roku zrodził się plan na posiadanie ciekawej torówki 🤔
Udało się znaleźć po części już zrobioną (mechanicznie) ale nadal do szczęścia wiele jej brakowało.🫣
Odelżyliśmy ją, zbudowaliśmy silnik, usunęliśmy bolączki związane z rudą, wzmocniliśmy budę ⚒️
Po tych działaniach nadal była brzydkim kaczątkiem, ale z wielkim sercem do walki na torze😎
Dzięki (kolejny raz😀) i stała się piękną zieloną wojowniczką 🥷
Żeby dopełnić kwestie wizualne daliśmy jej bardzo lekkie kółka, które dodały jej jeszcze więcej charakteru 🛞🔥
Przejeździła prawie cały sezon 2023 bez uszczerbków. Co może oznaczać tylko jedno - ewidentnie za wolno jeździłem😅
Plany na przyszłość są dosyć grube (między innymi wolnossące 200hp+ z itb, dużo większe odelżenie, klatka + starty w track masters) 🗓️

This is 7M-GTE with blown head gasket, which is a common failure in those engines.

Thanks for organizing the fierce competition 💪 during JapOnly event at the Tor CSE Autek track. We won second place 🏆, and Goldie acquired a few battle scars 🥊

Almost 8 years ago this Laser Blue Miata ended up in our hands with the intention of turning it into a daily "beauty". Initially, it received minor modifications such as D2 coilovers, a new soft top, new seats, an Opel Astra lip spoiler (for $12 🙃), new wheels, and so on. Over time, the desire for more power grew stronger 💪, so we installed a Mercedes W203 Eaton M62 supercharger (190hp). We went to our first meetup, the 30th anniversary of the Mazda MX-5 in Ułęż Circuit, where we had the opportunity to test our skills on the track. We immediately caught the bug, and our desire to hit the track grew. Unfortunately, the supercharger seized, and because of our interest in track driving, we switched back to naturally aspirated. From then on, things progressed quickly ⏳. We attended our first Rookie RWD training, participated in the Miata Challenge, and made further track modifications. We managed to win a few trophies in the last season 🏆. And that's how our "beauty" turned into a battered ugly duckling 😐. Thanks to the guys from SU2 Performance, the idea was born to bring back the supercharger, but this time at a completely different quality level 🔥 - we chose Rotrex A/S™ C30-64 🤩. And to prevent our "dryer" from feeling sad driving in a battered car, we installed rear fender repairs, refreshed the engine bay, and prepared the entire car for wrapping 😊. Here, big thanks once again to Bad Witch and Easy Wrap for comprehensively handling the graphic design project and wrapping - top-notch quality ❤️. Now we're moving on to upgrading the exhaust, adding oil coolers, power steering, assembling everything, and firing it up. To be continued 😎
