Deborah may your soul rest in peace and may peace be far from those responsible for your death.I don't want to say let God judge them because he has given men wisdom to create law, court and judge for case like this both because we are living in a failed state nothing will be done.
Today Nigeria is so backwards on every level because of the thousands of innocent blood spilled in the land crying to God for vengeance and Justice.
Until Nigerians realize that we are not the same people, stop being delusional with one Nigeria because it doesn't exist, and honestly we don't really have to be, to be good friends do business or even intermarry be good nabours .
The north has more of people practicing Islam Wich is there right. and the south has more people practicing Christianity Wich is also there right.
A statement a southerner might consider casual might be unforgivable blasphemy in the north .
I recall what happened to me when I was newly admitted to gss bwari abuja where I had my secondary school education . I had an altercations with a Muslim colleague of mine and he trethened me that he can accuse me of deficating on the Islamic holly book and I will be dealt with and nothing will happen, immediately the ground under my foot shook , because I have heard romours of what happens to people with such accusations Witch had just one out come, death .
Now even do this my colleague didn't carry out such treat and nothing of such happened during my stay , it has already left a scar in my young teenage mind and till I graduated that school I avoided anything Arabic inscriptions like my life depended on it.
Now the reason I told this story is to let you all see how dip our divide is if we had one country he would not be able to treating me with his religion at such a young age.
The only solution to this on ending dilemma is for Christian's to rule Christian's and Muslim to rule Muslims as nebouring countries or as a regional authority just like the three founding fathers agreed upon on independence in 1960 they had fosight .the one Nigeria you all are shouting up and down is as a result of military coup upon coup.
Now some might Wonder how can this fix this kind of incident and stop it from happening.
It's going to fix alot of things in more ways than one.
When each region has its military, and embassy outside and you can travel from anywhere you are to the outside world, the northern leaders will be forced to put a stop to it because only then will there be consequences for such barbarity .
Or you think the northern leaders cannot put a stop to it even today if they want ? They can but they won't because there's no consequence and such babaric mentality can help there political ambisions in more ways than you can ever understand let me not go there.
Both Prov are abound and you must be a blind dingbat to not see it .
In life we should know that we can escape human judgement and Justice system but there's a God in heaven the most powerful who's judgement and Justice you can't escape.
