SIR IDAISIN GLORIFIES GOD FOR SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF TENURE.
..thanks Methodist Church Nigeria for conferment of Knight of John Welsey on him...applauds Ini Stakeholders for unalloyed support.

It was a moment of Thanksgiving and Parise galore yesterday 24th December, 2023 as Political class, General in the Nigerian Army, traditional rulers, clerics, Women and youths gathered at the Methodist Church Nigeria, Ikot Udo Asan circuit, Diocese of Ibakesi, Ini Local Government Area for the Thanksgiving Service and Grand Reception of Rt. Hon. Sir. Israel Idaisin as knight of John Welsey.

The Thanksgiving service which set the mood for an occasion that will be remembered for its gaiety, mirth and exhortation as the immediate past Ini Council Boss looked back over the past years he served Ini Local Government Area with a heart of gratitude to God and to other political stalwarts in Ini L.G.A.

Sir Idaisin applauded both the Church for their constant prayers for his Administration success and for the unalloyed support given to his administration by the Stakeholders in the past years wherein he served as the Transition Chairman and Executive Chairman of Ini Local Government Area respectively, stressing that he was only able to achieve all that he had achieved because of the peaceful and cordial relationship he enjoyed from both the Church and political stakeholders of Ini Local Government Area.

The immediate past Ini Local Government Council Helmsman expressed deep appreciation for being conferred with the prestigious Knight of John Wesley (KJW) award. "I am especially elated that the Methodist Church has found me worthy of this award that is only bestowed on ‘devoted, committed, spiritual, faithful, liberal, peace and loving ardent defender of the Christian faith and promoter of the Wesleyan heritage” he worded.

According to the immediate past Ini Local Government Council Boss: “The past years has not been an easy journey, it has been bumpy. However, I am happy and grateful to God, because in all things, He says we should give thanks

“Looking back, God has preserved my life and I am thankful to Him; with what I have seen from the beginning till now, I must say that God has been merciful

“In everything I do, I did it with the fear of God and with so much commitment. I am happy and excited, to God only be the glory in all I have achieved today and I know He is taking me somewhere. He knows the end from the beginning and I will continue to glorify Him

"And so, let me end by saying, if it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us, then they would have swallowed us alive, when their wrath was kindled against us; then the waters would have overwhelmed us, the stream would have gone over our soul; then the swollen waters would have gone over our soul but in all, we give thanks and praises to God for Sustaining us till the end of our Administration".

Hon. Inibehe Umah, Chairman transition committee of Ini Local Government Area, earlier today December 23, 2023, joined friends and sympathizers to commiserate with the family of late Prince Akpabio Akpan Nyah as they bid farewell to their beloved father. aged 64.

The funeral service was conducted by the living faith church (winners chapel) Mbiabong Ikot Essien,Oron road, Uyo.

Thereafter, Hon. Umah joined the Honorary Special Adviser to the Governor on Special Projects, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Bassey; Prof. Ini Udoka, Former Member Ikono/Ini Federal Constituency; Hon. Emmanuel Umah, PDP Chapter Chairman, Ini LGA; Dr. Akaniyene Akankpo; Elders, the political class and other leaders of Ini LGA to pay a condolence visit to the member representing Ini State Constituency, Hon. Lawrence Udoide over the demise of his father, Late Mr. Ofonmbuk Udoide, who passed on at the age of 85.

He described the Late Patriarch as a God's fearing man, a man of peace and one who seeks for the good of others at all time.

Hon. Inibehe Umah further prayed God to grant the Ini lawmaker, and his entire family the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable lose.

In a later development, the TC chairman, chaired the traditional marriage ceremony between Former Miss Edidiong Etuk and Min.(Dr.) Edidiong Inyang

The chairman transition committee who declared the couple husband and wife, blessed their union and prayed for a fruitful, happy and peaceful marital life.

SENIOR PROPHET PETER DANIEL PERFORMS SPIRITUAL CLEANSING AS COMRADE INIBEHE UMAH ASSUMES OFFICE

The Chairman, Ini Local Government Transition Committee, Comrade Inibehe Umah earlier today 11th December, 2023 received the entourage of a renowned Clergy man and the Son of the soil from Itu Mbonuso Clan, Ini LGA, Senior Prophet Peter Daniel of the Touch Of Glory International Ministry to his office at Ini Local Government Council, Odoro Ikpe to perform spiritual cleansing as he assumes office.

The senior prophet while declaring the word of God stressed that when the rightous man is on the throne, the people rejoices. He further stated that it is time for Ini Local Government Area to come together in unity since God, through divinity have found Comrade Umah worthy for such an exhalted office.

"I stand here as the son of the soil to declare that your administration will bear good fruits in Ini Local Government Area, where both past and present political appointees will work together in unity for the overall interest of our motherland."

"Today, we rededicate this office to God. We ask that He should take charge of the affairs of this local Government Council, and make your administration a great success with massive development and empowerment programs."

The fulfilled T.C Chairman expressed his joy over the blessings of God in his life and the lives of his cabinet members, and also prayed that God should guide and direct their paths in piloting the Council's affairs.

The high point of the clergy man's visit was the prayer session held for Ini Local Government Area, to have peace and prosperity restored in order for their leaders to work together in harmony and bring development back to Ini Local Government Area.

THE TRANSITION COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN, INI L.G.A DONATES REVENUE GENERATED FROM FIONG ARAN MARKET TO A CHURCH WITHIN THE LOCALITY AS THEIR FIRST FRUIT.

…Thanks Governor Umo Eno for giving him and other members the opportunity to serve in the Transition Committee.

The Transition Committee Chairman, Ini Local Government Area, Comr. Inibehe Umah today Sunday 10th December, 2023 led members of the Transition Committee, Ini L.G.A to the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, Ikpe Ikot Nkon and subsequently to Church of Jesus Christ, Ini District, Mbiabong Ikot Udofia to donate revenue generated from Fiong Aran Market as the cabinet first fruit based on need assessment within the location of the Church.

The event which was the second official outing of comrade Umah's led Transition Administration came bearly three days after their appointment into the transition Committee, saw them giving Glory to God for His grace upon them to be favoured by His Excellency's magnanimity.

In his speech, "Today, being the first Sunday after our swearing-in, we have decided with the committee members to worship and return glory to God here and to bring our first fruit generated internally to who owns all resources for the benefit of mankind and we must use our revenue to add value to the locality in which it is generated" the Chairman noted.

The first fruit which was generated at the Fiong Aran Market, the TC Chairman stressed that they deemed it fit to surrender it to the location closer to where the revenue was generated (Church). He further solicited the Ministers of God to keep praying for Pastor Umo Eno's Administration, since he is a product of the Church constituency.

At the course of the event, Comrade, Inibehe Umah thanked the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno for trusting him and the entire committee members with the responsibility of manning His Arise Agenda in Ini Local Government Area, assuring that the committee will not relent in the task of simplifying and uniting all interest in the area for the success of the Government that has brought hope and stirred joy at the grassroots level.

The high point of the event was the significance presentation of the first fruit of the current Administration in cash donation to the church and offering of prayers for the success of the transition committee.

INI LG COUNCIL CHAIRMAN PRESENTS 2024 BUDGET PROPOSAL TO INI LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL.

The Executive Chairman of Ini Local Government Area, Rt. Hon. Sir. Israel Idaisin KJW, JP earlier today 4th December, 2023 presented the 2024 Budget Proposal christened, "Budget of Hope for Sustainable Growth and Development".

The presentation which took place at the Ini Legislative Chambers, Odoro Ikpe happened to be the last budgetory proposal for the administration of Sir Israel Idaisin as the Executive Chairman of Ini L.G.A.

The Budget proposal became necessary in order to aid facilitate the ex*****on of capital and recurrent expenditures for the Sustainable Growth and Development of Ini Local Government Area for the 2024 financial year.

The wife of the Executive Chairman of Ini Local Government Area, Lady Edith Idaisin Jp, today 2nd December, 2023 paid last respect to Late Madam Bessie Peter Ekong.

The funeral service, conducted by the Lutheran Church Nigeria, Afaha Nsia, Ediene Circuit, Ukpom Diocese was held at St. Joseph's Primary School, Afaha Nsai, Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State.

The Late Madam Bessie Peter Ekong was the mother to Mrs. Ekaette Columba, wife of the former Ikono Local Government Chairman, Hon. Itoro Columba.

PROJECTS COMMISSIONING: GOV. UMO ENO, SEN. EYAKENYI, RT. HON. UDEME OTONG EXPRESS SATISFACTION OVER SIR ISRAEL IDAISIN PERFORMANCE.

In an occasion that summed up the super performance of Rt.Hon. Sir Israel Idaisin's led administration in the provision of physical and human infrastructures, the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, represented by the Honorary Special Adviser on Special Projects, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Ekpenyong; the Deputy Governor, Senator Akon Eyakenyi also represented by the Commissioner of Education, Mrs. Idongesit Etiebet and the Speaker of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Udeme Otong expressed satisfaction over the performance of Sir Israel Idaisin; describing him as super performer and a reflection of the Governor's ARISE AGENDA vision for the state.

In what happened to be the State Executive cm the Legislative Arms of Government Inauguration, the trio of the Governor, Deputy Governor and Speaker AKHA inaugurated people oriented projects executed by Rt. Hon. (Sir) Israel Idaisin KJW, JP administration at various locations in Ini Local Government Area; while also Flagging off the payment of student bursary to over 1000 Ini Students at both public and private tertiary institutions across the country.

Other top government functionaries, the political class, the academia, council staffs, traditional rulers, community leaders, students, women and youths also graced the projects commissioning which became a mini carnival as residents expressed joy at the live touching projects and human capital development of Hon. Israel Idaisin's led administration.

In his address, the council helmsman welcome the guests and Ini citizens to the epoch making event and took time to outlined itineraries of the commissioning and flag off event.
In his words, "The projects to be commissioned today are five in number and are based on need assessment of the people of Ini Local Government Area

"Because of the present harsh economy, we decided to undertake the payment of bursary to students of Ini local Government area studying at higher institution of learning. We will start with Akwa Ibom State College of Science and Technology, Nung Ukim, the only tertiary institution in our federal constituency who will be pay instantly through physical cash payment while the rest of the institutions will receive credit alert from their respective banks as we proceed

"As part of our government responsibility to ease the transportation needs of our council staffs, we will present 18 seater Bus to NULGE, Ini branch

"Also critical of their official transportation need, the Council Secretary, the Clan Head, Odoro Ikono clan and my Chief Protocol will also be presented with cars to ease their means of transportation. Additionally, two motorcycle and one tricycle will also be presented."

Flagging off the Bursary payment, the Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Idongesit Etiebet who represented the Deputy Governor appreciated the council chairman for his magnanimity in attending to the student's need through the bursary payment, coming at a critical time of the student's financial needs.

Delivering the Deputy Governor's goodwill message, Mrs. Etiebet said that, Sen. Eyakenyi was truly proud of the vision of the council chairman whom she described as a touch bearer and thoroughly impactful. The commissioner maintained that, the deputy governor been a teacher herself before she sojourn into politics, had an unfeigned love for education. She said her unhindered decision to honour the invitation of the Chairman for day's occasion was not only premise on the fact that the education sector is her primary constituency rather of the commitment and strides of the chairman in the sector and beyond.

"Let me commend the Chairman for investing in the future leaders and also for being on the same page with Akwa Ibom State Government as the state is currently working modalities for the payment of Students bursary

"I remembered years back, you built a six classroom block for the students in Ini LGA and we are proud of your strides

"For the Students, the Deputy Governor asked me to advised you to take your studies seriously and make good use of this golden opportunity while endeavour to use the bursary received today judiciously." Mrs. Etiebet said.

On his part, the Honorary S.A, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Ekpenyong who represented the governor gave Sir Idaisin a pat on the back for sustaining the tenet of good governance and leading by example through the life lifting projects in Ini Local Government Area. He further praised the Council Boss for living up to people's expectations by delivering projects that would improve the standard of living of the people.

"I have seen, touched and felt all the projects executed in your administration and I will report same to the Governor in whose capacity I am here." Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Bassey noted.

Cutting the tape at the different locations, the speaker of Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Udeme Otong commended the council boss for the projects executed and observed that, under his watch, positive changes in terms of development have continued to flourish in Ini Local Government Area; saying he was profoundly proud to have commissioned those projects to the glory of God and for the benefit of all man kind.

The speaker further admonished Ini people to make proper and efficient use of the facilities commissioned.

100 DAYS IN THE GOLDEN ERA.

On behalf of my dear wife, Mrs. Edith Idaisin, the Government and the good people of Ini Local Government Area, I wish to congratulate His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State as he marks 100 days in office.

Your Excellency, indeed, your leadership prowess has spoken volume about the calibre of man you are, and the people of Ini L.G.A are very much happy with the tremendous progresses that have been recorded under your administration within the first 100 days in office. Your humility, transparency, accountability and commitment to good governance are evident in the various projects and initiatives that have been implemented thus far.

As part of your takeoff projects today, we will be witnessing the commissioning of Ndiya Street; Akpan Andem Drainage Project; and Internal Roads at Urua Akpan Andem. All these projects are in line with the Arise Agenda.

I would loved to also commend you on your efforts at the grassroots level which focuses on development and empowerment as witnessed in your decision in appointing of one Personal Assistant per ward, and also your commitment to the welfare of Pensioners in the state is highly commendable. Your constant release of funds for the payment of gratuity is a testament of your understanding and love towards retirees in the state.

Furthermore, your administration's efforts in road rehabilitation, educational improvement, quality healthcare delivery, agricultural implementation, and youth empowerment have not gone unnoticed. The numerous ongoing projects in different parts of the state speaks of your unrelenting commitment towards infrastructural development and of course, improving the lives of all Akwa Ibomites.

Earlier today, Wednesday 12th July, 2023, the Executive Chairman of Ini Local Government Area, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Israel Idaisin JP joined other Stakeholders of Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District for a Thank You visit by the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, for massively voting him into office as the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State. The event was held at the residence of Obong Michael Afangideh in Odoro Ikot, Essien Udim L.G.A.

The Governor while thanking the stakeholders of Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District assured them that, he will serve the people diligently in order to ensure that dividends of democracy is being felt in all the nooks and crannies of the State, and most especially, at the grassroot level.

He further called on the stakeholders to stand by him in order to fulfill all his campaign promises in Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District, for the overall benefit of the people in the area.

As the world marks this year's Children Day Celebration, the Executive Chairman of Ini Local Government Area, Rt.Hon. Israel Idaisin JP today earlier joined the children of Ini LGA for this year's ceremony at the Local Government Mini Stadium, Odoro Ikpe.

The event featured match pass and cultural dance competition by both Nursery, primary and secondary schools.

Beracah Standard College, Mbiabong Ikot emerged the overall winnner. While
Odoro Ikono Secondary School, Mbiabong Ikot Udofia and Ikpe Community Secondary School, Ibam Edet emerged as 2nd and 3rd runner ups respectively in the Secondary Schools Category

While PCN School, Ikpe Ikot Nkon
PCH School, Odoro Ukwok and
PCH School, Odoro Ikpe took the 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively in the Primary Schools Category.

For the Nursery Schools Category, Holy Family School, Ikpe Ikot Nkon, Beracah N/P School, Nkwot Etok and Life and Light N/P School, Odoro Ikpe took the 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.

For the Cultural Dance competition, Ini Secondary School, Life and Light Comprehensive College and Blessed Secondary Commercial School took the 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively in the Secondary School Category.

For the Primary Schools Category, PCN School, Odoro Ikpe and Migrants Farmers Primary School, Ikot Ama emerged as 1st and 2nd.

While for the Nursery School Category, Holy Family took the 1st position, while Dominion Kids N/P, Odoro Ikpe and Jesus Children Academy, Ikpe Ikot Nkon emerged as 2nd and 3rd runner ups respectively.
