SIR IDAISIN GLORIFIES GOD FOR SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF TENURE.
..thanks Methodist Church Nigeria for conferment of Knight of John Welsey on him...applauds Ini Stakeholders for unalloyed support.
It was a moment of Thanksgiving and Parise galore yesterday 24th December, 2023 as Political class, General in the Nigerian Army, traditional rulers, clerics, Women and youths gathered at the Methodist Church Nigeria, Ikot Udo Asan circuit, Diocese of Ibakesi, Ini Local Government Area for the Thanksgiving Service and Grand Reception of Rt. Hon. Sir. Israel Idaisin as knight of John Welsey.
The Thanksgiving service which set the mood for an occasion that will be remembered for its gaiety, mirth and exhortation as the immediate past Ini Council Boss looked back over the past years he served Ini Local Government Area with a heart of gratitude to God and to other political stalwarts in Ini L.G.A.
Sir Idaisin applauded both the Church for their constant prayers for his Administration success and for the unalloyed support given to his administration by the Stakeholders in the past years wherein he served as the Transition Chairman and Executive Chairman of Ini Local Government Area respectively, stressing that he was only able to achieve all that he had achieved because of the peaceful and cordial relationship he enjoyed from both the Church and political stakeholders of Ini Local Government Area.
The immediate past Ini Local Government Council Helmsman expressed deep appreciation for being conferred with the prestigious Knight of John Wesley (KJW) award. "I am especially elated that the Methodist Church has found me worthy of this award that is only bestowed on ‘devoted, committed, spiritual, faithful, liberal, peace and loving ardent defender of the Christian faith and promoter of the Wesleyan heritage” he worded.
According to the immediate past Ini Local Government Council Boss: “The past years has not been an easy journey, it has been bumpy. However, I am happy and grateful to God, because in all things, He says we should give thanks
“Looking back, God has preserved my life and I am thankful to Him; with what I have seen from the beginning till now, I must say that God has been merciful
“In everything I do, I did it with the fear of God and with so much commitment. I am happy and excited, to God only be the glory in all I have achieved today and I know He is taking me somewhere. He knows the end from the beginning and I will continue to glorify Him
"And so, let me end by saying, if it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us, then they would have swallowed us alive, when their wrath was kindled against us; then the waters would have overwhelmed us, the stream would have gone over our soul; then the swollen waters would have gone over our soul but in all, we give thanks and praises to God for Sustaining us till the end of our Administration".
