The law aims to regulate the issuance of SIM cards to prevent spam text messages and scams. Under the measure, all new and existing users must register their SIM cards with public telecommunication entities (PTEs) using valid identification documents. TAURED MAN FROM PARALLEL UNIVERSE

"A man bearing a passport from the nonexistent country of Taured showed up at a Japanese airport in the 1950s and then mysteriously vanished. Experts believed he was from another dimension."

Full story:

In July 1954, a man arrived at Tokyo airport in Japan. Despite having a conventional appearance, the officials were suspicious of him. Upon checking his passport, they saw that it was issued in Tamanrosset, the capital of the independent sovereign State of Taured”. The passport looked genuine, except for the fact that there is no such country as Taured, at least in our dimension.

The man was interrogated, and asked to point out where his country supposedly exist on a map. He immediately pointed his finger towards the Principality of Andorra, but became angry and confused. He said that he had never heard of Andorra, and couldn’t understand why his homeland of Taured wasn’t there. According to him it should have been there, for it had existed for more than 1,000 years.

Customs officials found him in possession of money from several different European currencies. His passport had been stamped by many airports around the globe, including previous visits to Tokyo.

Baffled, they took him to a local hotel and placed him in a room with two guards outside until they could get to the bottom of the mystery. The company he claimed to work for had no knowledge of him, although he had copious amounts of documentation to prove his point. The hotel he claimed to have a reservation for had never heard of him either, so as the company officials in Tokyo that he was supposedly there to do business with. Later, when the hotel room he was held in was opened, the man had disappeared. The police claimed that he could not have escaped out of the window for the room was several floors up, and there was no balcony.

He was never seen again, thus, many physicists believed that he had gone back to his country, Taured, which actually exists in the parallel universe.
