Undoubtedly, there are lot of narratives around weight gain which may lead us to unhealthy patterns and mistreating our body. Through working with groups of women experiencing the same suffering and limitations, it became very clear that universally, many women learnt to lose their true self in order to protect their bodies and hearts

Yet this still did not feel good enough and if anything this led us as a community to grow into patterns and treatments of ourselves that whilst protective, they also often cause us living in shame, guilt and disempowerment

And because these patterns are often so subconscious, whilst way me be aware that something doesn’t feel right, we have hard time identifying and breaking away from these attachments

We are bringing you Returning to One’s Self podcast to help you with the first steps in recognising these attachments and finally breaking free and starting a new journey towards reconnecting and returning to your inner self

Without realising, this led us to lot of self-betrayal in ways that we have hard time recognising and keeps us in a place of disempowerment and discontentment with ourselves and our bodies

In our first episode, we want to provide you with awareness on this and share with you our experiences with self-abandonment and why we want to help YOU to return to one’s self….
