Visual of the difference between dark waterslides and regular waterslides.
I keep forgetting to post things publicly on this page. Here’s another use for the double sided adhesive sheets.
We spend a ton of time browsing Facebook groups and looking at a lot of fantastic creations made by other people. We follow other creators and watch tutorials. We think to ourselves “wow, I could never create something like that” or “why do all of my tumblers have flaws but this person can knock out perfect creations one after the other?”. The reality is that every single person makes mistakes, we just don’t often see them.
When we showcase our work online, we tend to not show how many attempts it took and the mess we made along the way. We aren’t proud of the mistakes so they are often hidden.
The first part of the video is the start of this tumbler. I messed it up 10 ways from Sunday. The purple was a HOT MESS and the white was a spicy disaster. I literally said to myself “seee this right here is why you don’t use glitter”. I almost tossed it aside to start a new one. Instead a group of friends motivated me to continue. I decided the best route to take to fix it and I got to work.
The second part of the video is the end result.
It’s 100x better.
Don’t quit and don’t sweat the small stuff. It doesn’t matter how long you have been doing this, We all mess up, we all make mistakes. All that matters is that you keep trying and keep learning.
