An Airbus 380 is on its way across the Atlantic. It flies consistently at 800 km/h at 30,000 feet, when suddenly a Eurofighter with a Tempo Mach 2 appears.
The pilot of the fighter jet slows down, flies alongside the Airbus and greets the pilot of the passenger plane by radio: "Airbus, boring flight isn’t it? Now have a look here!"
He rolls his jet on its back, accelerates, breaks through the sound barrier, rises rapidly to a dizzying height, and then swoops down almost to sea level in a breathtaking dive. He loops back next to the Airbus and asks: "Well, how was that?"
The Airbus pilot answers: "Very impressive, but watch this!"
The jet pilot watches the Airbus, but nothing happens. It continues to fly straight, at the same speed. After 15 minutes, the Airbus pilot radios, "Well, how was that?
Confused, the jet pilot asks, "What did you do?"
The AirBus pilot laughs and says: "I got up, stretched my legs, walked to the back of the aircraft to use the washroom, then got a cup of coffee and a chocolate fudge pastry."
The moral of the story is: When you’re young, speed and adrenaline seems to be great. But as you get older and wiser, you learn that comfort and peace are more important.
This is called S.O.S.: Slower, Older and Smarter.

Teen artist Sheilah Sheldone is appealing to the public to help her raise KSh 4.5m needed to help her ailing mother receive treatment.

Sheilah's mum Vivian Otieno is currently admitted at Aga Khan Hospital in Mombasa after suffering a panic attack.

"Watching your mother lying helpless in the hospital bed at 14 years, confused not knowing what to do," she wrote.

The teen added that her life has been forced to change from a young girl to a grown up woman who is taking care of her mother.

US-based content creator Andrew Kibe has reacted to singer and YouTuber Diana Marua's claims that he's broke.

The mother of four had shaded the former radio host on her Instastory for always mentioning her name.

She said: "Kibe aki mbona unapenda kunitukana na vile wewe ni maskini."

However, Kibe did not take the 'broke' insult lightly and he took to his YouTube channel to give his rebuttal.

Racheal Njoki Munene has been pregnant 11 times, but she does not have a single baby to show for all those times.

The 35-year-old was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia, but she says the one weird bit about her condition is that there was never protein in her urine.

Njoki opened up revealing that during the pregnancies, he blood pressure was always very high and she suffered from low amniotic fluid, known medically as oligohdramnios.

The young woman disclosed that every new pregnancy she had brought fresh hopes that this was finally the time to become a mother, but that would come crashing down at 28 weeks.

It is a condition that, among other things, cost her marriage as her ex husband used that to chide and torment her.

She walked out of the toxic marriage and has been on a recovery path, but the void of not having a baby remains gaping, as fresh as it was years ago.

Looking at Njoki's bubbly personality, one may not easily tell the sad moments and ugly memories she carries from the past.

She has watched life flame out of the eyes of her babies, sometimes in hospital incubators.

There is a police officer who was thrown out of a moving car and run over by a motorist (driver of the said car) early this week. Julius Marwa was knocked and killed by Mohamed Abdi at the Buxton Junction in Mombasa in what is believed to have been a case of road rage (he was later arrested, he is out on Sh 500, 000 bail).

He had entered Abdi's car, Abdi (man in the photo) started driving, pushed him out and drove over him.

Here is the sad part. He died several minutes later, and could have been saved had he been taken to the hospital. But the public refused. His colleague begged over 20 motorists to help take him to hospital but none wanted to. TukTuk drivers too refused to help. Even the public didn't help... they stood, took photos and videos as the man begged for help.

The traffic police say there is bad blood between them and the motorists and the public around the junction. Motorists on the other hand have accused Marwa and other traffic cops of intimidation, extortion, taking bribes, and harassment.

Marwa, a cop since 1997, owns a bar and restaurant in Mombasa, and school in Migori.

Accident Alert;
The service lane at Mathari, right outside Muthaiga Square is completely blocked by two trucks. Police officers and a tow truck are on site. Motorists accustomed to using the lane are advised to use alternative routes.
