With the launch of the official Pond Prowler Logo, I’m excited to share that in late August I will be starting up a podcast. Trying out the Swim jig in the bluegill pattern, paired up with their swimbait. The bluegill pattern really kills it here in Michigan around this time. This is quickly becoming my favorite jig.

Stopped out for a few casts after work. They wanted the jig tonight.

After visiting my father for Father’s Day, we went to a small pond right next to his house. Ended up catching 5. This pond typically holds cookie cutter 1 pounders, sometimes you’ll get just above a 2 pounder. Got a couple catches on video using the Zoom’s Ol’ Monster worm. It was 4pm, pushing 80 degrees so this guy came in clutch.

to when I caught my first bass on my kayak. It was mid summer, I found a drop off and worked along it until I caught this beauty.

Clearly I hadn’t learned how to hold the fish yet. 😬

Having trouble getting a bite during the hot summer months?? Try a Ol’ Monster. Depending on water color I typically throw Green Pumpkin or June Bug.

My first ever bass that I caught on my kayak was a 4lb Large mouth using this. Texas rig it and work it slow. 🎣
