If you aren't already aware, Conor is a poet, and is soon to realise his second poetry book, so we decided to have a read through the girl that started it all off; 'Cloudburst', his first poetry book, published in 2020. And speaking of seasoned, Ali recalls their years in the force (attending conventions), the atrocities they witnessed on the battlefield (15 year old cosplayers with leashes) and the abuse of power in the chain of command (the toxicity of the inner cosplay circles). It's safe to say, from the alarming rise in Freddo prices to the chronically online lack of socialisation in the cursed years of the pandemic, there's nothing these DOGS don't cover!

What calamity! Are you guys ready to have your ears ripped off? In this episode there's a lot of talking and a lot of singing and a lot of yelling and we're sorry. Elliot briefly dives into something personal, they both tell a long-winded tale of Conor's drunken escapades and about how in the apocalypse the only thing that will be uncovered amongst the rubble is fart noises from this podcast! (Tune in to hear said fart noises x) And, of course, Conor talks for far too long about his current hyperfixa- I mean he opens up about how Victoria Justice and the rest of the cast has had him in a chokehold (much like Meemaw Cain).

In this episode, these two fettered corpses catch up on what has been passing between their few brain cells as of late. Conor touches on the above mentioned (and metaphorical) grip that Ethel Cain the has consistently and impressively had on him. Blessed be the Daughters of Cain, one could say! They make there way from Two Broke Girls to prehistoric cavemen, Conor talks about almost getting knifed and they regale with the alcohol-induced events of the previous night which led to their hungover, Low-Power Mode state they're in for this affair.

Welcome back and welcome to the new season of the pod!! We're back, hopefully more organised, and just as deranged as ever! And what a way to start off the new year and new season than to take a reflective look back on the past endeavours that led us to where we are today; our old podcast! I know, how could people so perfect not already have gotten it right the first time ? Well, as they say, gorgeous devours cute and this episode shows, there was some clear and slightly concerning obstacles to overcome before we could become the Emmy nominated, Grammy award winning podcast we are today. There's nothing that makes you feel quite better about yourself like looking back on the embarrassments of a bygone era.

This week, Conor and Elliot take a trip down the memory lane to discuss the more serious topic of their own differing coming out experiences, their experience with their labels and the issues with celebrity sexuality speculation, like Kit Connor's publicly pressured coming out. Respect people's sexuality journey or we'll appear in your room and sing an acapella arrangement of Camila Cabello's rendition of 'I'll Be Home For Christmas"!! On a brighter note, they also take a brief break from the bittersweet journey of being q***r in this goon-filled world to quiz Elliot on Conor's ten words of the day. And the conclusion: English has so many unnecessarily complex words. Like "pugnacious"?!? Get a grip!! Final question: would you subscribe to Conor's Only Fans if he made one…? On this high-speed motor chase of an episode, they take the left exit into discussing bi and pan erasure and they do some complex method acting as Conor does a live reading and interview about his illustrious, drunk poetry on their famous, just made up, talk show (because why not I guess?). And for the first time (in forever) they endanger the visual population by doing their first video segment. As Elliot said at least five times, keep an eye on the Instagram for that!

Phew, the working life is a hard one, but these role models truly do persevere! Elliot talks about the recent full-scale rebellion his body is in from working, they rant about their newest adult-gay game obsession (and no it's no Animal Crossing, we'll get to THAT later), plus Conor recounts a spiritually, physically and emotionally transformative experience going to see Remi Wolf in Dublin, including a barefoot hotel worker throwing dust on Mia's bed. They touch on the beloved era of Moshi Monsters (yes they had gold memberships obviously), their first youtubers they devoted hours of light depraved time to, and the fandom culture that Conor graciously contributed to and partook in as a escapist youth. Honestly though, have you really lived if you haven't had a Harley Quinn roleplay account on Instagram?? That's what I thought. From people not knowing basic condiments (like who doesn't know what mayo is?!?) to people tutting their disapproval in line, from cute first dates to live on the scene break ups, Conor and Elliot are collecting all their badges in the most of the most decrepit, illuminating and downright confusing display of humanity; working in hospitality.
