UNIQUE EXPRESSION OF LOVE:

If God intentionally made us all different, why should everyone be expected to love God in the same way?

Nine of the ways people draw near to God:

Naturalists are most inspired to love God out-of-doors, in natural settings. Sensates love God with their senses and appreciate beautiful worship services that involve their sight, taste, smell, and touch, not just their ears. Traditionalists draw closer to God through rituals, liturgies, symbols, and unchanging structures. Ascetics prefer to love God in solitude and simplicity. Activists love God through confronting evil, battling injustice, and working to make the world a better place. Caregivers love God by loving others and meeting their needs. Enthusiasts love God through celebration. Contemplatives love God through adoration. Intellectuals love God by studying with their minds.'

THE ART OF MEDITATION:

Meditation is often misunderstood as some difficult, mysterious ritual practiced by isolated

monks and mystics. But meditation is simply focused thinking - a skill anyone can learn and use

anywhere.

When you think about a problem over and over in your mind, that's called worry - a negative energy. When you think about God's Word over and over in your mind, that's meditation - a positive energy. If you know how to worry, you already know how to meditate! You just need to switch your attention from the negative energy to positive energy. The more you meditate on God's Word, the less you will have to worry about. By prayer we speak to God but by meditation God speaks to our sanctified minds.

CLASSIFICATION AND DEFINITION OF SONGS:

Music is an effective tool of communication. It communicates both in sounds and lyrics. Music are messages in melodic form designed to produce a response. It has the capacity to evoke positive or negative emotions. Music inspires, motivates, informs stimulates and stirs not just the soul but also the spirit.

CHRISTIAN/SACRED/RELIGIOUS SONGS: These are songs which communicate the Christian/religious faith. This songs must pass the taste of religion, wherein; it must have the mention of Jesus, God, heaven and other religious terms and belief and such songs can only be useful in church or religious service.

GOSPEL SONGS: These are songs which speaks the good news about the salvation and the general package and principles of the finished work of Christ.

SPIRITUAL SONGS: These are songs and sounds inspired by the spirit or which evoke the manifestation of the spirit.

SECULAR SONGS: these are songs that are inspirational/motivational or even speaks to a noble course. They are morally pure in content but not necessarily for spiritual edification.

DIRTY/FILTY SONGS: These are songs that are sexually provocative, crime promoting and morally degrading.

WHEN IT COMES TO MUSIC:

There are no difference from worship or praise songs. Or should I say there are no worship songs but songs used in worship. Worship is more than songs. But the sum total of your devotion, commitment and consecration which is PLEASING and acceptable unto God.

Worship has nothing to do with the style or volume or speed of a song. God loves all kinds of

music because he invented it all-fast and slow, loud and soft, old and new, Rap or Pop, rnb or reggae, AFRO or fugi. You probably don't

like it all, but God does! If it is offered to God in spirit and truth.

The music style you like best says more about you-your background and personality than it does about God. One ethnic group's music can sound like noise to another. But God

likes variety and enjoys it all. In Africa a worship song can be in the genre of MAKOSSA, WORROR OR EVEN AFRO MUSIC. This is because Africans are energetic and enthusiastic and best way to express our emotions is when it's groovy. Music is the expression of emotions. So for an African like myself when I want to use a song to worship God, my mood determine or is expressed in my song. So when I'm high and the preacher says give us a worship song be sure that the church will be receiving a hot sukous with a lyrics that express my emotions to God.

unplanned by their parents, but they are not unplanned by God. God's purpose took into account
human error, and even sin.
God never does anything accidentally, and he never makes mistakes. He has a reason for
everything he creates. Every plant and every animal was planned by God, and every person was
designed with a purpose in mind.
Long before you were conceived
by your parents, you were
conceived in the mind of God.

The choices we make today have a way of crystalizing into our future, wether good or bad. And though God See's us through the lense of our future men will always remember us in the future based on our past history. Hence the future depends on the present. But unfortunately many Young people, at this critical moment of foundation laying, are unstable with their emotions, virtues, conviction and choices, assuming, they'll stabilize when they grow older. Of course, old age will certainly make one to stabilize but by then you can only stabilize on the choices you've made while you were still young. But if the foundation be faulty what other good will subsequent righteous act do to correct your mistake. Make choices today that you want to see in the future. Remember you make your choices and your choices make you. And the greatest choice you will ever make is to devote your youthful valor in pursuing Christ. That will be the most wise decision and investment you will make into the future... He forgives all wrong of the past and remember them no more in the future (when confessed and forsaken) you can trust him to keep your secret a secret.
