12 years ago I began my happily ever after when I said “I do” to my ‘Hercules’…honey, you mean Hunk-ules! 😜💍✨

From ‘Tower of Terror’ arguments (where I always yell louder) to ‘It’s a Small World’ meltdowns (seriously, can we get off already?), we’ve seen it all and I’m so grateful that we have experienced both the bad and good together. Our marriage is the wildest ride in the wilderness!🤠I love you 3000 💫

We decided for our Christmas gifts we wanted to focus more on experiences together. My mom has always wanted to go to the and we attended the Titanic Dinner Gala last night and had such a fun time!

Unfortunately you can’t take any photos or videos during the actual gala but it was really fun to do something different and get all dressed up! My mother looked incredible and im so happy we got to do this together. This is not a sponsored post but we really enjoyed the experience so I wanted to share! It was like dinner and a show type of vibes but also interactive while still being respectful of the tragic event that took place that night.💙

Beyond grateful that I got to see with my mom on Christmas. The original film has strongly impacted my life and the Black Women in my family putting our pain under a microscope and highlighting our strength and resilience—even under the worst circumstances.

Leaving my mama behind when we moved here to FL was one of the hardest things I had to do. But despite any distance, our connection stays unwavering but that’s probably because I call her at least twice a day 😜 I’m so thankful that I got to experience this with my mama.

We laugh, we cried, we sang, we cheered! The , with its powerful testament to sisterhood, reminded us of our unbreakable link.💕

❄️✨Sipping in a Winter Wonderland Afternoon tea at The Lobby Bar in the ❄️✨

We had the perfect girls day with lots of holiday magic thanks to for hosting us.

We indulged in a scrumptious selection of traditional tea sandwiches (my fav was the Hickory Chicken and Pimento Cheese Cheddar biscuits 🤤) and a beautiful display of holiday desserts including the currant scones which we all couldn’t get enough of 🙌🏾

We started off with the holiday cocktail menu infused with teas. I got the cinnamon plum fairy which tasted like Christmas in a glass. As for the tea service, there was a nice variety to choose from but my favorite was the Chocolate Chai! 🍫🫖

I loved the hot chocolate and candy station and it was the best hot chocolate I’ve had this holiday season!

This is also a great holiday experience for the kiddos with crafts, activities and a kid friendly menu. There are also carolers that come around to every table with festive tunes.

It’s not too late to experience the holiday magic, you can reserve The Winter Wonderland Afternoon Tea through December 24th on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. For reservations, call 407 313 6161.

Hello 33 🙋🏾‍♀️🥳🎉

Am I where I thought I would be?…Nope. 🤷🏾‍♀️

And you know what, that’s ok. That’s life. And even though it doesn’t always go the way we want, life really still is freakin beautiful. 🌈

For the longest time, I didn’t believe I belonged in this world just because the bad guys in my head tell me constantly how much of a failure I am. I’ve taken these last few months to learn tools and ways to defend myself from the nasty thoughts and to accept & acknowledge my faults and challenging ego with love, patience and understanding.

I’ve been in my healing era. And I’m going the be in this era for a while because healing isn’t an overnight pill.
Healing takes so much patience. And patience can be scary especially if you struggle with anxiety.

When the time is right, there’s so much I want to share about this journey because I do truly believe that God and the universe gave me a platform not for my mugs or for my Disney bounds but to help people gain a better understanding of the complexities of mental health.

But I’ll share when I’m ready. I’m in this transition period where I’m really focusing on getting to know and understand my true self. My focus is to keep going; to keep waking up each morning.

To anyone who needs to hear this… KEEP GOING. No matter how dark it gets, do not give up, there’s always light at the end.

Living the Halloween dream!👻 We had a spooky craft night sleepover in a Treehosue Villa at !

🎃I’ve always wanted to stay in the Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and I truly felt like I was in my own magical forest! The villas are spacious and being surrounded by all the greenery reminded me of my home in the PNW. 🌲

🎃I decided to surprise my friends with a spooky craft night which required matching Halloween pjs, painting our own haunted mansions and indulging in yummy spooky snacks! It wasn’t a night full of screams but it was a night full of fun & laughter!

I don’t believe you find or create or love, I believe it just happens.🏳️‍🌈

I know not everyone will understand or even accept my lifestyle and that’s ok. The great thing is you don’t have to live my life. I do. 🤷🏾‍♀️

And I’m extremely blessed to have two people who truly love me for me. I have a team that supports me at my lowest lows and my highest highs. 🫶🏾

Polyamory is new to all of us and I’m not going to lie, I never really understood it until my heart forced me to learn about it. And it’s truly a beautiful thing that is misunderstood by so many.

I’ve been extremely open and honest about my life (sometimes I share a little too much 👀) but I’ve always told myself I would never try to be something that I’m not. I never want to feel like I have to hide who I am. This situation was a little different because it wasn’t only about me but two other people who I love dearly and wanted to make sure they were comfortable with me sharing this with everyone.

I still have my mental health battles don’t get me wrong, but I’m happy, so incredibly happy.🫶🏾

Never underestimate the power of a staycation! This weekend I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried new things things that brought my soul joy!

From playing mermaids by the pool, making chocolate treats, relaxing in our private cabana and sampling unique flights of rum, I’ve had an incredible weekend getaway at this beautiful resort.

I have to shout out Executive Pastry Chef for his phenomenal chocolate making experience that will be available to the public soon (stay tuned for vlog)! I normally get anxious in those type of settings but I truly enjoyed myself and had so much fun the whole entire class.

This is my staycation smile 😊

Only minutes away from , the has been newly renovated and we are thrilled to be hosted this weekend for our staycation!

🐾And the best part is they are PET FRIENDLY 🙌🏾 Soooooo our little fur baby Callie gets to join in on the fun!

All of their one-bedroom suites have been fully remodeled and they are so spacious!

Our suite has a king bed and we still have plenty of room for filming, getting ready and our belongings! There is a separate living room with a pull out queen sized bed and the beautiful bathroom has a separate vanity allowing plenty of space for a family to get ready!

Each suite includes a Keurig coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave and a desk.

And YES they do offer shuttle transportation for resort guests to and 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

This weekend is full of so many fun activities and we are so excited to check out all of the amazing amenities and experiences this resort has to offer!

I came to the shocking revelation last night that I am not a mermaid because I cried so much during the that I felt dehydrated after the movie.😭

🧜🏾‍♀️I have been anxiously waiting to see this film and so grateful invited me to an advanced screening last night at . AND OMG everyone looked so incredible! And you could just feel the excitement and energy for this movie!!!

If I’m being 100% honest, I haven’t been doing the greatest hence why I’ve been MIA. I’ve been dealing some really dark mental health struggles so stepping out of the house was a major step for me. We almost didn’t make it out because I had a panic attack on our drive over to the screening. But I’m so thankful we didn’t turn around because I believe EVERYONE needs to see this film.

IT WAS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! EMPOWERING! MOVING! VISUALLY STUNNING! FUNNY! IT IS THE BEST DISNEY LIVE ACTION MOVIE!

I have never felt more seen. I have never felt more proud. My tears were from that little girl inside me who thought she could never be a princess because she wasn’t white. From the teenage me who never auditioned for the lead roles in the school plays because I thought it wouldn’t matter how good I was because I wasn’t white like the original character. And from the adult me who is currently struggling to find her place in this world because she doesn’t believe she belongs.

you are changing the world. I wish there were movies like this when I was a little girl. I can confidently say if I grew up with movies like this one, I would not struggle with believing in myself so much now as an adult.

People are saying she’s the perfect Ariel but I disagree…SHE IS ARIEL.
And the magic this movie will spark in hearts around the world brings me hope.✨

My big dream for 2023 was to attend the premiere, obviously that didn’t happen.😔

The Little Mermaid is my favorite Disney movie and this film means so much to my inner child.♥️The little girl who never thought she could be a Disney princess because of her skin color.

My mental health and self esteem have been a huge struggle for me recently so it’s been easy for me to beat myself up. I kept playing over and over in my head what I should have done differently.

I’m finally starting to come out from that dark place and remind myself no matter what I do, there are just some things that are out of my control. But that doesn’t mean I’ve failed. It doesn’t mean I need to give up on myself.

I want to say thank you to and for inspiring me to keep my head up and to keep going.
We see so many happy wins on social media which is great but I also think it’s important for people to see the other side; when things don’t go as you hoped.

We are human. And the human world is a mess.😜 Remember to just keep swimming. If one dream should fall and break into a million pieces, never be afraid to pick up one of those pieces and try again. That is something you can control.

I’m still beyond excited for this film and can’t believe MerMay is finally here!🙌🏾 I know this film is going to make such a beautiful difference for so many little black girls.

Unfortunately depression doesn’t always give you the holidays or birthdays off. Today I woke up as a 32 year old in a low which isn’t the greatest way to start off your birthday. I started thinking negative things about myself and questioning my every move. I was way too anxious to look at texts and dms. But then I took a deep breaths and grounded myself and started going through messages. The amount of bday love I have received has helped me remind myself that I am worthy. Huge Thank you to my Rozkateer Family for making me feel so special and to everyone who has sent sweet birthday wishes! Each spring, 100 exceptional high school students arrive at the Disney Dreamers Academy with ambition, excitement and hopes for the future. Thank you for all of your patience, support and kindness. It was a little overwhelming plugging back in so I’m taking my time responding to messages but I can’t even express how extremely grateful and appreciative I am for all of you. It’s so freakin hard but so freakin important to take care of yourself and put your self first.
