EverQuest

The second part is set five years after the events of the first part. The huge continent has split into many small islands that form separate archipelagos. The "white" races have settled in Keinos, a huge white stone city where even the sewers are as bright as daylight. Elves, hobbits, froglocks (half-human half-frogs) and barbarians try to stop their eternal enemies - the inhabitants of "dark" Freeport, who dream to enslave the whole world and establish power over the surviving neutral peoples.

Ash Williams, the sultry guy from the black comedy The Evil Dead, had a great arm - a chainsaw instead of a hand. With the motor running, the ruffian cut the dead into jagged pieces, blood and dirty rags flying to the sides. This hand became famous, and Ash appeared on posters, T-shirts, and copycat movies. They even made games to match.

Dead Space Extraction

The world's major gaming corporations are still trying to learn how to make money on the Nintendo Wii with games that are not intended for it, with a stubbornness worthy, by God, of a better use. It's even funny: they don't have enough money for an advertising campaign, Nintendo doesn't care about these attempts, and the games are sold in microscopic quantities. Dead Space Extraction has the same story - severed limbs, bone-crushing aliens, depressing scenes, and a ridiculous nine thousand copies sold in the first week. Another dramatic turn is that Extraction precedes the events of the whole Dead Space universe, and without it the picture is obviously ragged.
