Yaeyama Islands, Japan
The Yaeyama Islands are the westernmost and southernmost inhabited islands of Japan, two of the three main island chains in the Okinawa Prefecture. Its coral reefs provide idyllic habitats for a wealth of marine life, including dugongs and whales.
