While buying a home can be challenging and scary for a first timer, due to the steps, tasks and requirements, we knew that pouring months and years into a rental property where we wouldn’t have any equity just wasn’t the way we wanted to go.
So we grinded, sacrificed and saved to get us to the point of being pre-approved for a home mortgage. It wasn’t an easy journey, it took us about 2 years alone to save the money needed for the down payment and closing cost, but the difficulties of the process didn’t make it impossible!
