Nailing fundamentals let’s you move fast but if you love fast before you nail the fundamentals your bound to hit speed bumps you cannot handle alone.

My two favourite gadgets I use the most are my wooden cutting board and my SHARP chefs knife.

Many of you know who I am but for those of you don’t know me let me introduce myself.
I am Brad. I have been a fitness professional for over 20 years coaching everyday Jane’s & Joe’s to as much health and success as the professional athletes I have guided to victory.
I am a husband to @skahn16 and dad to two awesome boys.
I am an endurance athlete having raced 3x Ironman & multiple shorter races and a handful of longer trail races including a 100 km trail race.
When I am not training, getting the kids to their sports or coaching you’ll find me in the kitchen.
I have always loved food but didn’t always have the healthiest relationship with food.
I played lots of sports but wasn’t the biggest. I ate to get bigger...and not in a good or healthy way.
It wasn’t until I started to learn more about the body and fall in love with human physiology that I started to out train my bad diet...I still wasn’t healthy but I did drop lots of weight. I literally ran it off until my body said no more.
As soon as I stopped running the high mileage I put the weight back on.
Who else can relate to this up and down yo-yo?
It was when I started to get my head wrapped around how my body interacted and reacted to foods, how different foods can/should he used for therapy and how fuelling my body for performance I could shed the weight for good and perform at the level I knew I could.
I followed this up with multiple Ironman All-World athlete awards, top 10 age-group awards in marathons and finishing my first 100 km trail race in just over 15:30:00.
