This week I ate new donut flavors at from the savory to sweet versions. My favorite was the orange flavored! 🍊

I also tried the new cocktail bar in Uptown (Minneapolis, Minnesota) and the drinks were delicious! What a wonderful combination of boba inspired drinks. My fav was the Matcha Yuzu drink with sea salt foam — I’ll definitely be back for more. ☺️

Sweets first, adulting later 💕✨🍰

Visited for their soufflé pancake and they did not disappoint! We ordered the strawberry shortcake, apple crumble, lemon blueberry (my personal favorite), and a rose gold honey latte. ☕️ I’ll definitely come back to try their savory pancakes!

We finally had decent weather this weekend with a high 70 degrees, lately it’s been in the 50’s and windy. I forgot how much I like the sun. 🥹

Give it up for the red moment. 🥀

Going to bring cherry red for the rest of the year because it’s so pretty! The color is growing on me, but it also helps that it’s not the main focus and it’s in the smaller details. ❤️

Stepping out of my comfort zone and into the chaos of NYC. 💓🏙️

My first solo trip and I decided to head back to New York, mainly to attend Sarah Kang’s concert (which I loved). 🩷😭🫶🏼

I explored the city, admired the art, got a second tattoo, and ate delicious food! Unexpectedly, I attended a NYC meetup and met some incredible people as well. 💘

Not my last photo, I went to a thrift store and missed my plane because I couldn’t stop thinking about the dress the next day. I got the dress, but at what cost. 😅👗 You’ll be seeing me wear that dress often to get the most out of it. 🥹

A big worry of traveling alone as a woman is still a fear of mine, but remember to prioritize your safety!
1. Don’t wear over the head headphones, use earbuds and even on a lower setting.
2. Don’t stay out too late and return to your hotel at a reasonable time. I went home by 12 p.m.
3. At the subway stations, stay well far away from the tracks. Someone could potentially push you and accidents can occur.

All in all, this was a character growth arc and we love to see it. 🎀

You’re my favorite. 💜 (Me, I’m my favorite person.)

I wanted to do something special for my birthday and treat myself to this photo shoot. I feel like I’ve neglected the relationship with myself. This past year I struggled with being alone with my own thought, boundaries, and my wants and needs. Every year I always find new problems to solve. What can I say, I’m a life long learner. 🤭

With another year passing, I’m grateful for everything that’s happened. Wish we could run it back a little. 💞
