I’m feeling so driven to improve my skating! Even just a year ago I wouldn’t imagine I could clean an apex jump. Between these gorgeous pads and the wonderfully responsive Mota Skates LLC , I feel light, quick, and ready to push harder in my training! Fortunately, I have that opportunity to train weekly with the Bradentucky Bombers Roller Derby as they continue to develop their open gender team.

I’ve not replaced my pads in over two years, after a lot of abuse I felt it was time for an upgrade!
I contacted and voiced my concerns with knee pads slippage, and after a long conversation he suggested a prototype design he’s been working on. The upper extension with double securing straps gives a more secure grab the prevents slippage and pad rotation! After minimal testing, I’m happy to say that it really does make a big difference! I can’t wait to test them out on the track! @ Sarasota, Florida

What an intense game ❤️
Had a great time skating against Mom & Pop Malita, and was honored with the MVP Blocker award! First time I’ve ever won MVP anything 😂
Super proud of my teammates and especially for Matt (Matlorian #30) and Tyler (Salazar Slaughtering #16) for really stepping it up in their first bout ever!

Excited to put these Mota Skates LLC Metcon Carbon boots to the test today skating with Bradentucky Bombers Roller Derby new open gender team! We will be skating against the Mom and Pop Malita with a few drop in skaters from Magic City Misfits and I’m pumped for the challenge!

Working on a video talking about how to heat mold your new boots, what the process entails, and how does it impact your performance and comfort in your skates!
Shout out to because these Carbon Metcon boots look absolutely killer! They already fit like a glove and the heat molding made them a form fit to my foot!

Mota Skate Assembly

Picked up a full setup from Mota Skates LLC, and wanted to document the assembly process!
This is the Metcon Boot and Boss plate with a set of TKO wheels and YOLO bearings.
I have to say I've been skating on this setup for just under a month now, and I'm blown away by how responsive and comfortable this setup is. Its noticeably lighter than any of my previous skates, and I feel so much more agile on this new setup!

The mounting process with has been by far the easiest experience I’ve ever had mounting skates!
The sole had a prescribed centerline as well as suggested divots for drill points, which were incredibly accurate! It made matching the mounting points between each boot a breeze, and gave me absolute confidence that the skates are perfectly balanced!
Big thanks to Mike aka Mr. Chop for mounting my skates and letting me film the process!
