Here are 3 ways to BOOST self-confidence in 2024
1) Pick out an outfit to wear that makes you look and feel good. Curl your hair and put on some mascara.
2) Don't be so hard on yourself! I know, easier said then done! Say nice things to yourself, like for example, "you're doing the best you can," "you'll figure it out."
3) Do something you're good at and that you enjoy (i.e. paint, draw, running, etc.)

At the end of 2018, I was quite unhappy. I weighed just under 200 pounds. I was eating unhealthy and I was hardly exercising at all!
I had NEVER been this unhealthy and felt so sedentary and tired! ๐ฑ
I knew I needed to make a change. However, I was unsure of what to do and where to start.
Fast forward to February 2019. My mom and I made the decision to "try" the ๐๐๐ฉ๐ค ๐๐๐๐ฉ (a huge fad at the time).
At this point in my life, I was not big into dieting. However, I decided I would give it a valiant effort for a month and see what happened. I managed to do all of these things:
โจ I completely quit drinking alcohol
โจ I cut out sugar.
โจ I limited my carbohydrate consumption to only complex carbs (i.e. fruits and veggies).
โจ I ate salads for most of my meals. I would use balsamic vinaigrette and olive oil for the dressing.
โจ I also doubled my water intake by about 42 ounces.
Along with the Keto diet, I did ๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐บ๐ถ๐๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ณ๐ฎ๐๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด, so I would only eat food between the hours of 11 am and 7 pm.
This was a game changer for me, as it eliminated snacking and reduced my sugar craving ๐พ
I also had so much more energy ๐พand I woke up feeling refreshed in the morning.
๐๐ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ต ๐ญ (๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ต), ๐ ๐ต๐ฎ๐ฑ ๐น๐ผ๐๐ ๐ญ๐ฑ ๐ฝ๐ผ๐๐ป๐ฑ๐. ๐ฅณ
I was super excited and motivated by my progress in such a short amount of time!
As a result of having success and knowing I could continue it, I made the decision to keep going until I reached my goal weight.

๐ ๐ณ๐ฒ๐น๐ ๐๐ผ ๐บ๐๐ฐ๐ต ๐บ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐ณ๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ด๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ. ๐
I continued with Keto but not as strictly as I had been. I allowed myself to have the occasional bread and pasta but I stayed away from the sweets.
I continued doing intermittent fasting because it was now just something that was a part of my daily routine.
๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ผ ๐ฝ๐๐บ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฑ, ๐๐ป๐๐๐ผ๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ, ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ด๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐บ๐ผ๐๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐น๐น ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐๐ผ ๐ฑ๐ผ ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ผ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ป๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฎ๐น๐ธ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ ๐ฎ๐บ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น๐๐ต ๐ท๐ผ๐๐ฟ๐ป๐ฒ๐!
That's why I decided to get my ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น๐๐ต ๐๐ผ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ต๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป! AND have been studying Full Body Systems to become a ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐๐๐ป๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐ก๐๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ผ๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐น๐ผ๐ฟ ๐คฉ
I love this stuff because I can now identify and address the root causes of health issues rather than just treating symptoms, while taking into account an individual's unique biochemical makeup, lifestyle, and environmental factors that may contribute to their health challenges.
I am also passionate about developing personalized dietary plans to achieve my clients' health goals and about empowering them to make healthier food choices, manage specific health conditions, and improve overall well-being through nutrition.

My first challenge at OrangeTheory (OT) was Orange Everest. It was just my 5th workout at OT and as you can see from the picture I did 1.16 miles.
1 year, almost to the day, I posted 1.22 miles, which shows I made progress.
Iโve learned through building my health coaching business that progress, even small progress is better than no progress. The same can be said when it comes to your health. Focus on one thing that will help you progress forward just 1% more than the day before and keep going forward. Youโve got this!! ๐ฏ๐ซ
