Introducing M Willis Wardle as the lovable detective extraordinaire, Zip Zapperdoodle! With a flair of the golden age of radio, Zip Zapperdoodle is the 1940s mans man. His upbeat attitude never ceases to fade even in the face of danger.
His moxie is one that can’t be measured and M Willis Wardle had this to say about the character,
‘Zip is a traditional take on what people assume everyone sounded like back in the early 1940s. A fast-talking, smooth, and sometimes dim-witted man who takes everything at face value, not because he’s naive but because he believes in the good in people. There’s an innocence in Zip and it’s why he’s so loveable.’
But M Willis Wardle isn't just the title character, he also portrays a plethora of other voices such as the pesky space sharks featured in the commercial for the 'ZamCo Space Shark Repellant' and Marv's missing moon. M Willis Wardle had this to say about his voices.
‘From a young age, I could pick up on accents and even celebrity impersonations so doing voices is sort of like second nature. Coming up with voices is easily the best part of making the show and I hope it’s as fun for the listeners.’

Introducing David John Leger as Marv the planet! Portraying a depressed shell of a planet, David brings true sadness to the role with his heartfelt performance. Upon asking David his feelings towards his performance he had this to say,
‘Marv is a very elaborate character and I had to dig really deep and pull out everything I had just to give the listener a sense of his passion.’
With a true sense of the wounded character, David really did bring Marv the planet to life. The question on everyone’s mind is will we see Marv again? David had this to say,
‘I don’t know, I’m not the f*cking writer.’

Introducing Mark Caravaggio as the young, loveable ward, Jimmy! He’s the salt to Zips pepper, the yin to his yang, the cucumber to his pickle! Without Jimmy, Zip would surely be roaming the galaxy without the scientific knowledge of how a computer works!
Mark brings an innocence to Jimmy using his high-pitched, nerd-like voice.
The question is, how did Mark come up with the iconic voice!? Here’s what Mark had to say,
‘I just use my normal voice. I've been keeping it secret. That’s how I really sound. No, but seriously It's the voice I use in the club to score with the ladies. Another joke! It's actually the voice I use to annoy people...mostly my wife. When I was asked what sort of voice jimmy would have I thought to myself,
‘What would a pre-teen orphaned, space cowboy detective sounds like... so I punch kicked myself in the nuts, and thus Jimmy was born.’
