A very important thing to know about the Mastering process:

Mastering cannot salvage or restore a bad mix.
If your mix is unbalanced, with wrong levels, eq, ambiences, etc., Mastering will not miraculously change that. Your mix will still sound bad, no matter how well you master it.

For that reason, SG Music Lab offers a free mix assessment service prior to starting any Mastering projects, so we can advise you on how to fix any problem in the mixing stage.

Once your mix is sounding good, the Mastering process will elevate it and make it suitable for any audio or video application.
