Advertising & PR Students at MSA Launch A Campaign to Create a Renovated Identity for the Egyptian Cities to promote tourism.

أطلقت فريدة أحمد وندى وائل حملة "محروسة" كمشروع تخرجهما من جامعة اكتوبر. تهدف الحملة إلى الترويج السياحي من خلال إعطاء هوية للمدن الساحلية مثل دهب والإسكندرية والمدن الصحراوية مثل سيوة

Farida Ahmed & Nada Wael launched “Mahrousa”Campaign for their graduation project from MSA University. The campaign aims to promote tourism by giving an identity for coastal cities such as Dahab, and Alexandria and cities in the desert such as Siwa.

اختارت الطالبتان شعار الحملة "أم كل الحضارات" حيث أن منظورهم لتجديد الهوية المصرية يكون من خلال التأكيد على التنوع الحضاري و الثقافي في المحافظات المصرية، وتنفيذ هذه الحملة من خلال تصميم شعار لكل منطقة لتحديد المدن حسب موقعها و وثقافتها من أجل زيادة السياحة للبلاد!
يقومون أيضًا بعمل كتيب للسائحين للمساعدة في إرشادهم على الأماكن التي يزورونها. . اختاروا هذه الحملة لسببين رئيسيين ، فهي بالتأكيد تساهم في رؤية مصر 2030؛ بالاضافة ان العاصمة الإدارية الجديدة حددت بوضوح هوية المدن الحديثة، وهو ما حاولت الطالبتان اتبعاه.

The students chose the campaign slogan “Mother of all Cultures “ as they perceive the renovation of the egyptian identity through emphasizing the diversity in the egyptian culture. They aspire to implement this campaign by designing a logo for each region to identify the cities according to its location and culture; in order to increase the number of tourists in Egypt.

They are also designing a guidebook for tourists with the information they need about places to visit.

They chose this campaign for two main reasons. It certainly contributes to the 2030 Egypt Vision, and because the new administrative capital has set an identity for the modernized cities, which they tried to follow.

كذلك ركزت الحملة على تأثير الإعلام في المساعدة على تسويق هذه المدن من خلال منصات مختلفة مثل البرامج التلفزيونية والإعلانات والأفلام والأغاني أيضًا.

In addition, the campaign focused on the effect of media in marketing these cities through different platforms such as TV shows, Ads, Movies and songs as well.

في الجزء النظري من مشروعهم ، ناقشوا في ورقة بحثية من 152 صفحة تضمنت حوالي 46 مرجعًا ومقابلات مع مكتب المتحدث باسم وزارة الخارجية وعالمة مصريات. - لقد غطوا المعالم السياحية والأنشطة والثقافات الرئيسية في المدن المختارة. إنهم يعملون الآن على الجانب العملي الذي يشمل الإعلانات التلفزيونية والإذاعية وحملة العلاقات العامة.

In the theoretical part of their project, they discussed in a 152 pages research paper that included around 46 references and interviews with the Spokesperson of the office of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and an Egyptologist. —They covered the cities’s main sightseeing, activities and cultures.

They are working now on the practical part, which includes TV and radio advertisements and PR Campaign.
