Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Anurag Kashyap have both expressed their opinion in support of the Sudipto Sen directorial, 'The Kerala Story', which has been banned in some states despite the Supreme Court allowing for its screening last week. Nawazuddin believes that we should never ban films and they should foster social harmony and love instead of breaking people apart and causing social discord. The movie has earned 200 crore in the India box office and continues to be successful across the country.

Ukraine war: Wagner chief vows to hand Bakhmut to Russian army by June
Yevgeny Prigozhin, the head of the Wagner mercenary group in Russia, has vowed to transfer control of the Ukrainian city of Bakhmut to the Russian army by June 1. Kyiv says it still controls parts of the city, however it's believed Wagner mercenaries have slowly eroded Kyiv's resistance. Ukraine's Deputy Defence Minister, Hanna Maliar, has stated the Ukrainian forces still have a small foothold inside the city. The capture of Bakhmut would bring Russia closer to its goal of controlling the Donetsk region, but analysts say Bakhmut is of little strategic value to Moscow. There were about 70,000 people living in Bakhmut before the invasion, but only a few thousand remain. The US has said it believes more than 20,000 Russian soldiers have been killed and 80,000 wounded in the battle for Bakhmut.

F-18 fighter jet accident at Zaragoza airbase as pilot ejects successfully
An F-18 fighter jet crashed at a Spanish airbase Saturday near Zaragoza. The pilot ejected successfully and is recovering in the hospital. The Spanish defense ministry said the aircraft fell within the perimeter of the base. Videos posted online show the plane in flames as it fell to the ground. The Guardia Civil reported the pilot had suffered injuries to his legs and was evacuated to the hospital via helicopter. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
