F-16s take part in a training exercise in Denmark.
WATCH: #BNNDenmark Reports.
F-16s were seen participating in a training exercise in Denmark. The video footage captured rapid movement of a large number of planes through the same airspace.
The Ukraine conflict appears to have emboldened Russia to 'test' Denmark's airspace more frequently.
According to new defense figures, Danish fighter jets were forced to scramble twice as often in 2022 as in previous years to intercept foreign military planes.
Last year, Denmark's F-16s were forced into the skies 80 times, a significant increase from 2021 (30).
Typically, Denmark's F-16s are dispatched to investigate suspicious radar activity;most cases involve Russian aircraft en route to Denmark only to depart before entering Danish airspace.
These encounters frequently involve Danish and Russian planes flying so close together that the pilots can make eye contact.

And I informed Her Majesty the Queen this evening that it is possible.

Denmark is forming a new government, and the Radical Party will not be included.
WATCH: #BNNDenmark Reports.
The Radical Party has withdrawn from negotiations to form a new government, which means the party will not be a part of the new government.
The decision was confirmed by the party's political leader, Martin Lidegaard @martinlidegaard, who stated that they decided at the last minute to decline serving in the government.
The main differences between the Radical Party and other parties are only in terms of climate policy, as well as issues concerning children and young people.
The party's political leader stated that by simply standing outside, the Radical Left can make a significant difference.
The Radical Party will not form the new government and does not consider itself to be in opposition.
According to Lidegaard, the party will identify as free birds who will support the government on any reforms it wishes to implement...
while also pushing for higher ambitions on climate, children, and education issues.
As it stands the new government will be formed by the Social Democrats, Liberals, and Moderates.

The adoption of green investment in Vietnam has prompted Danish Company LEGO to announce the start of a $1 billion project in the southern province of Binh Duong.
The project is the result of a visit by the Danish Crown Prince and Princess to the country, during which both countries signed a mutual agreement on green energy.
The project, which will be located in the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park III, will cover 44HA and will be LEGO's second investment in Asia.
The factory will be the first to be designed as a zero-carbon facility, with a nearby solar power farm to meet annual energy demand and energy-saving equipment in addition to solar panels on the roof to meet LEED Gold minimum standards.

BREAKING: #BNNDenmark Reports.
The Danish Consumer Council has warned energy companies not to use their customers as bank during this period.
Many Danes have been complaining about large increases in pre-paid bills from energy companies, as the companies are currently the most profitable.
Customers were charged a high price despite their low consumption.
Energy companies have now been warned not to use their customers as bank accounts as they continue to lend to them.
The energy companies have been called to account for why their customers' prices continue to rise.
According to an Aconto bill analysis, it is the amount that the company expects to spend on energy during a month or quarter.
The Aconto bill is an advance payment based on historical consumption; a customer's money is said to be reversed if the consumption rate is lower, while an extra bill is added if the consumption rate is higher.
Energy companies have been urged to take responsibility by providing consumers with viable options. #Energy #Price #Bill #Hike #Bank #Customer #Consumer #Company

Denmark has joined the ranks of the Nordic countries in offering alternatives as it seeks to rapidly decarbonize its energy system.
According to a Rystad Energy rating, Denmark, Finland, and Sweden are the leading countries in green revolution solutions. Electricity output in these countries is expected to exceed consumption, and energy capacity is expected to increase from 30 GW in 2022 to 74 GW by 2020.
When combined with Denmark's potential to store carbon in the North Sea, the Nordic countries' increased investment in green hydrogen projects will help Europe decarbonize heavy industries. Denmark's renewable energy mix currently stands at 70%,
...with the goal of reaching a renewable 55% share of its overall energy consumption by 2030, as its renewable energy will increase onshore wind capacity by 11.5 GW and solar PV capacity by 9 GW by 2030.
Sweden continues to have the most power generation capacity among the Nordic countries.
