Hey you…It’s been a little while…

As some of you may know, I have had to step away from “the table” for the last few months. I would be lying if I said the last 10 months of my life have not been the most challenging, terrifying and painful months of my life.

But…they have not confronted me without also bringing me something of great value. In this case, it has allowed me to face some of my greatest fears and stare them down onto my level where they cannot exist as something bigger or greater than me and the divine power I have access to,

The path I’ve been on and the work I’ve been doing for pretty much my entire life has been all about transformation - death and rebirth - and learning what true self-love really looks like and requires of us. This current challenging life experience has created an undeniable opportunity for me to apply what I have learned and practice it on a deeper level. And for that, I am grateful.

I am being reminded that the work of becoming your own greatest protector, parent, lover, guru, advocate, provider, etc. is one of the best things you can do for yourself but also for literally EVERYONE else as well. This inner work creates an outer shift that ripples through the collective consciousness and raises the vibration, locally and globally. I am reminded that there really is no greater way we can serve our humanity than in doing our own inner work.

We still need each other. We still need that which created us. But we are not helpless victims who are expected to just wait idly on the will of some heavenly vending machine that randomly doles out varying degrees of plights or blessings. Our perceptions and labels of the things that happen in our lives are our own creation and when we miss the opportunity to see them as powerful, divine messages, we are more likely to become prisoners of our circumstances instead of active contributors to our own evolution.

What would it look like to become so empowered that, no matter what other people around you do and say, you maintain your peace and your love for yourself and others?

What would it feel like to no longer be ruled by worry, anxiety, fear, opinions, approval and so forth?

Who would you get to become if you showed up as your own greatest resource for whatever you needed in order to thrive in life? What would that level of FREEDOM feel like?

Well….I have no fu***ng clue and I’m not going to try and say I have that all figured out. But I’ve learned some powerful tools and mindsets that are helping me to face my greatest fears, feel the things I would sometimes rather avoid and to dance fiercely with the messy process of my own divinity being experienced through the sensations of a human body.

What I’ve learned is valuable and should be shared. AND…when combined with what others have learned through their own unique challenges, we can create an unstoppable force of beauty and transformation that can shatter the limitations, negative patterns, traumas and separateness we’ve all been enduring into unrecognizable pieces of our pasts that are ripe for recreating a new shape of humanity.

So….I am phasing out S*x on the Table Podcast in order to offer a NEW PODCAST with a broader range of topics for becoming your best self. Don’t' worry….there are still many great conversations to be had around s*xuality, s*x and relationships, so that’s not going anywhere. I’m just offering MORE of all the other good s**t too!

Thank you to all of the amazing guests I’ve had on the show over the last year, to all who have tuned in, commented and supported the podcast. It has meant everything to me. I hope you will stick with us as we move into this new and exciting rebirth phase. Stay tuned. There is so much more coming.

"Emotional abuse is one of most inconspicuous, yet damaging forms of predatory abuse. It approaches its victims like a lamb and then sinks its teeth in like a lion without the victim ever knowing they’ve been bitten. But the teeth marks, followed by the sight of blood flowing from the wound signal an offense like shrieking sirens and flashing lights…sirens and lights that the lion will then convince them they do not see or hear.

With just the right balance of intimidating roars and sweet purring, the victim will come to accept that they bit themselves. As the victim tends to its painful wounds, they will be aptly trained to recognize that the sight of their blood is distressing to the lion and others and that they had better bleed elsewhere to keep the king of the jungle comfortable. So they bleed in isolation.

It need not be said that another wound will be delivered if necessary to enforce the rules that warranted the previous one. The victim knows there will be consequences if they do not comply. But, those consequences, as well as the rules, are constantly changing, so the victim never knows what they are supposed to do or not do to avoid being wounded again.

Once this cycle has been successfully initiated, little effort is required for the lion to keep the victim imprisoned as a willing participant in their own wounding. The victim essentially learns to turn on herself/himself in hopes of avoiding further punishment, isolation and blame while still holding some false hope that he/she has any shot in hell of winning the love, favor or acceptance of the one who is undeniably benefiting from their suffering.

There are no winners in the emotional abuse game, but there will always be a loser."

 I’m back from my writing retreat and I’m starting to record new episodes for you! Lots of changes coming, so stay tuned! I hope to start publishing new episodes sometime in April.

In the meantime, please keep my family in your prayers. We are really going through it but I am confident that it is all being presented for our highest good.

"The problem with manipulation isn’t really the manipulation itself. Often times, mild and playful manipulation can result in win-win outcomes, which is a fantastic outcome. It becomes problematic and harmful when the manipulator does not get what they want and chooses to punish the target with threats, withdrawal of love, silent treatments, verbal or physical abuse and many other tactics. This sends a message to their target “One of us will always lose in this game and it’s not going to be me.”

Moreover, when a person’s mind and nervous system have already been trained from childhood to assume the role of "loser" in order to have any hope at all of being loved and accepted in this world, then manipulation becomes an easy tool for power-hungry people to create puppets out of human beings. At the same time, the “learned losers” of this game often spend much of their time desperately searching for the love they never received, while oblivious to the fact that what they’ve been seeking must first be activated within them before it can show up “out there”. Until they can access and dispense the love they need to give to themselves, they will continue in patterns of reenactment, attracting the same manipulation, neglect, control and heartbreaks in the form of other humans.

Our wounded souls know how to find each other in this life. And those who break us and push us to our pain thresholds are our greatest teachers. They are here to help us reach the point where we can say “ENOUGH! I am no longer willing to participate in my own abuse. I am ready to love myself now.” And that is where the real work begins."

Guys: Do you love your dick enough to be its master, and not its slave? Are there times when you may notice that you move between both of these roles? Are you able to observe how you treat your dick… When are you able to honor it for all of its healing power and beauty… When might you be giving it all the power and make you do things you don’t want to do, etc.? Can you observe these things without making it mean something negative, judging yourself or becoming arrogant and thinking you have it all figured out?

We are fluid, ever-changing beings, who carry traumas and emotions in our bodies, including our ge****ls. We are not having the same experiences over and over again. Every single experience we have is different in some way, including how we respond to it. Are you loving and honoring yourself by making your dick part of your physical, emotional, and spiritual experience here in this body that you’ve been given?
