SUPER SHORTS NEW YORK FILM FESTIVAL 2023 AWARD WINNERS REVEALED

The Super Shorts New York Film Festival celebrated its 2023 edition last week with three screening nights showing shorts from around the globe. Festival manager and host Maarten Cornelis: "Our 2023 edition was such a great success! I am so proud of the brilliant work we were able to present to a sold out theater every night. This was the 3rd year in a row that SSNY took place at the Film Noir Cinema - part of the last remaining video stores in NYC. We are so proud of being part of this historical place and are looking forward to bring our festival back next year!"

Misplaced Analogy (Iran) by Kasra Yazdani, Friday, September 22, 2023 7-9PM.

I tried to compartmentalize the narrative that I created into pieces and handed it over to my friends so they could put it together one by one and have their own stories. 25 different films were produced. Some of the altered stories inspired by the 25 individuals were actually much more interesting than my narrative. Surprisingly, the stories had many similarities; strangely enough, even some of the scenes were arranged in exactly the same order. This film is the result of those 25 films. texts were added later.
