Been testing out my new mug press recently with some new designs. Me being a true crime addict, I had to make some fun mugs with that theme. All of these are at my booth at lazy daisy for 15 dollars! Let me know if I should make some more true crime stuff!

After a little break I’m coming back with some new fun cups being stocked at lazy daisy this weekend! There’s the usual vinyl cups (the colored ones) and something new that I’ve been working on! The tall cups are completely dishwasher safe while the vinyl ones are hand wash only. If you’re interested in one and you don’t live near midlothian, message and we’ll definitely be able to work something out!

After being burnt out with my realism pet portraits, I decided to switch up the style and rediscover my love for drawing pets. These are some of the portraits I’ve done over the months, focusing mostly on using one color and creating different tones to create depth. If you had any suggestions on what dog breed to do next let me know! I also have these prints on my Facebook shop if anyone is interested.

Hi! My name is Rebecca and I’m creating this page for all the drawings and art related that I produce. I went to college with no experience in drawing and came out of college with such a love and appreciation towards art. I started off only doing abstract art because I wasn’t really good at anything else. That being said I loved realism art and I always strived to get to that level. Now to the topic of how Just a Dreamer came about. Right when covid hit I was graduating from JMU and started to branch into realism pet portraits. Ever since then I fell in love with drawing animals and had so many ideas on how I could make this a small little business. Then covid happened and my mental health plummeted to a very dark place. Throughout this dark place I had one dream, and that was to start my own business. It’s taken me over a year (even now) to figure out myself and to get my mental health in a better place . Although I’m not 100% and still working out the logistics of a self own business; I want to start putting my art out there and show people what I’ve been working on and the progression of my art. Just a Dreamer was created to remind myself of my growth throughout the toughest time of my life and to achieve that one dream I’m holding onto.
