Please note weekend events are canceled/postponed. From the Chamber: Due to the impending inclement weather, the Lewes Chamber of Commerce is canceling all the events we had scheduled in 1812 Park from 11 – 2 pm on Saturday, October 1. The Fall Sidewalk Sales, scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday are being rescheduled to take place on October 22 and 23. If the weather allows this Friday, September 30th, businesses may have merchandise out on the sidewalk in front of their stores.
Some of the other events associated with Boast the Coast, sponsored by our chamber members, have also been canceled and some rescheduled. The Maritime History Boat tours by Cape Water Tours that were originally scheduled to take place this Saturday, have been rescheduled for October 22 at 11 am and 12:30 pm, departing from 217 Anglers Road. The Lewes Historical Society’s Craft Fair has been rescheduled for October 22 and 23. The Lewes Public Library Carnival and the Historic Lewes Farmers Market on October 22 have both been canceled.
