Almost made it through this steep rocky section on a downhill trail called, “Hoe” in the Frederick Watershed. My foot slipped off the pedal at the very end. One of the coolest and most intense trails I’ve ever ridden.

Unfortunately, the video does not do this feature and justice. It is way more steep and intense in person.

Got the kids out on ride the other day! This time we went around the neighborhood as they were feeling more comfortable on their bikes. Beginning of the Summer they were falling all over the place like they forgot how to ride a bike lol! Glad they are sticking to it and getting better.

The Dirt City crew went to Mont Alto to ride the Heaven or Hell trail and the Loam Ranger trail. Conditions were wet and slippery. It made the rock features way more difficult, but we still had a fun time. New video coming soon!

We went for a spur of the moment ride yesterday. We rode a trail called Blueberry that Uphill Mike has been wanting to check out for a while now. It’s a very steep and techy trail made worse by how overgrown it was. Riding it blind turned out to be very challenging as well. We got our butts kicked, but we will be back to give it another shot now that we know what to expect.

Got the kids out for their first ride of 2022! Don’t think I believe in the whole, “It’s like riding a bike” thing. They almost had to relearn how to ride again lol! Crazy what Winter will do. After a while they started to get back into the swing of it and had a good time.

SAMBA Carsonville Cabin Fever ride with John and Josh! Fitness has taken a big hit this Winter, but we had a great time. Was going to film, but for some reason all of my batteries drained from a full charge while not being used.

The boys went to the Wheel Mill indoor bike park in Pittsburg! Looks like a great time! Josh even busted out a 360 in the foam pit and is looking ready to bust that out on the trails.

First ride of 2022! It’s been months since we’ve been able to ride, but it was nice to get out on our bikes and shake off the cobwebs. Did not film today as we were short on time, but I assure you we will be filming again soon.

Bike maintenance day! New Shimano rotors to replace my warped ones and changed the 160 mm in the rear to 180 mm to match the front. 🚵🏼

Uphill Mike and I and did some various repairs to his bikes as well. Got his brake lever fixed and added more sealant to his front tire to his main bike. Also fixed his bent chainring and shifting issues on his backup bike. For once everything went smoothly 👍🏻

Got the new GoPro Hero 10 Black for Christmas! 🎄 I will be keeping the GoPro Hero 8 Black to get different perspectives and capture audio of other riders. Very excited to use this and create more interesting mountain bike videos for all of you.

Yesterday’s ride in the Michaux State Forest with Uphill Mike. Hitting this drop on Lower Happy Hour. For anyone that has ridden in the Michaux know how notorious it is for rock drops to flat. 🤙🏼

Got a ride in today with Uphill Mike in the Michaux State Forest. We rode Upper and Lower Happy Hour off of Woodrow Road. It’s been about a month since either us have been on our bikes, but it was blast to get out and hit the trails.
