This app protects using PIN code, access to particular apps - in this case, the Gmail. Unfortunately, it doesn't use anti-bruteforce protection. Because of that, this attack is possible to execute. This is not a system lockscreen PIN!
👉 If you decide to use such an app lock protector, make sure to use complex PINs and not to use easy to guess and common passwords. If you are a developer, I advise you to implement a brute-force protection that includes timeout after a few incorrect entered passwords.

Don't let your device unattended! In this proof-of-concept, I demonstrated how installing Metasploit payload can be automated using Digispark Attiny85 as BadUSB. This is possible because the device is programmed as HID, which means it behaves as a keyboard that presses a predefined set of keys that will download, install, and launch Metasploit payload. As a result, I have achieved a reverse shell on the Android from my laptop.
Targeted Android don't have to be rooted or to have enabled USB debugging.

1) Charge your smartphone using your own adapter when possible
2) Use device lock screen protection

This iPhone app doesn't use anti-bruteforce protection, which means there is no timeout or device lockdown after a series of wrong PIN entered. Because of that, this attack is possible to execute. This is not a system lockscreen PIN, and this device can't bypass it!
