We have a new artist on our roster, and it's our pleasure to welcome .mk_ to the team. Her Departure/Return EP was just released, giving you a little teaser of what's to come from her in the near future.

Born and raised in Denver, CO, Mama Mk has been long inspired by the city's deeply rooted music scene. Influenced by electronic artists of all genres, she brings eclectic and upbeat energy to the dancefloor. Focusing on curation and technicality, Mama Mk blends bass, UKG, and house frequencies to create a captivating and immersive experience.

She has put in some serious work in the scene music scene and even started a collective of her own called . You can catch Mama MK on plenty of lineups around the city, something you definitely need to experience. For now, head over to our bio and give her Departure/Return EP a Listen. Ooooo, we have something big happening and we promise the announcement has been worth waiting for. We've been doing takeovers in The Lounge at The Black Box for a year now. So we thought it was only right to do it bigger.

That's right, we're taking over the whole venue to throw our biggest party, and you're all invited. We decided it was only right to bring out POP THA TRUNK to headline this massive event for us! He's coming all the way from the way from Portland, OR to bring you his crisp, distorted bass flows layered with spicy trap inspired precussion to The Box for you to get down to. We also heard he's got some new new to rinse for ya'll.

You know we had to invite .mk_ for direct support duties with our founders Ollie Mumbles and ESOTERIC_vibes warming up the room before her. One of our early members, Wax Bandit may even open up the night with some of his own smooth flows to kick us off.

Remember, it's a dual room event, and you know we have a stacked lineup in The Lounge as well. Our guy Bezio Music has stepped up to headline the lounge for the night with our other residents Chvnny Mvy, MisterPerson and Migee there to back him up.

This is gonna be a "don't miss" party. We even got VJ extraordinaire .pixel.art coming through to brighten up the scene and N.aimless as your host and MC for the night! Do you need any more convincing?

We're just over 2 weeks away from our next takeover at The Black Box, and it's full of shellers as usual.

We're super hyped to have the homie Waylo headlining for us with an extended set. He's got some serious ammo loaded up, and he's got a serious squad for backup.

ChefWamp and LEUMAS are on the front lines with some fire to warm up the night, and we have special guest BLESSIT coming to clean up the scene. With a lineup up this heavy, we just hope the place survives.

It's Friday, and we haven't done this in a little while, but we're gonna try to keep bringing you guest mixes on a more regular basis again. This next one is from a local up and coming producer who's had been working with the likes of our homies Coal Mine Sound, Konkrete Jungle Mile High and .

Joshua Mascolo aka JUSH, residing in Denver, Colorado, was inspired by a vast scene of musical influences that created an innovative and intricate experience. Watching countless friends grow their musical production abilities over the years also allowed for much room to learn. Sets from JUSH become an auditory soul-shaking experience spanning from drum and bass to heavy 140 dub. It is a journey through sound and space that is not to be missed.

This live recording from his recent set at The Black Box is an example of his prowess and is full of OGs and fire tracks from other local DJs. So keep it locked with us as we take a deep dive and get familiar with the sounds and styles of JUSH!
